Reviews

The staff was exceptional. The accommodation as promised. The grounds were clean; inviting and what a break from Gauteng required. Truly wonderful property. (I understand that it is recovering from flooding and some areas showed it - but it was not an inconvenience). Surprisingly I enjoyed the lack of wi-fi.

Had breakfast in our flatlet

The facilities were great. The chalet was clean and very comfortable.

It was a great family vacation we had a great time, the rooms 👌 the food we really enjoyed the stay

The overall place was stunning, we were lucky to have arrived just when most of the renovations where completed. We had a great time playing bingo with all the visitors. That was an awesome touch that allowed people to interact. The burgers were super good, fully enjoyed that.

Braai facility

Busy with renovations after the floods thye experienced but you can already feel that this is going to be destination of choice for families. Neat rooms friendly staff , should definitely be on your list of places to visit.

The rooms are spacious

The surrounding bushveld beauty. The size of the resort, not crowded.

Beautiful and quiet. Loved the bush and animals

Quiet weekend away venue, restaurant and bar on-site perfect if you don't want to do too much self-catering.

This is Gem that has not been discovered yet. The friendliness of the staff, the facilities and the quality and comfort of the accommodation is superb. After the floods they doing a magnificent job of getting all amenities working 100% swiftly. Nearby activities: You do not want to go anywhere. This is heaven. Walkability: All areas have walkways with lighting. Food & drinks: The restaurant is good value with a variety of food and drinks to cater for all tastes

Food & drinks: Food is 5 star

Was 1 very nice weakend

The house and the bedrooms

Accommodation was perfect

Noteworthy details: Absolutely stunning. Will definitely visit again.

The location was good, parking was fair and professionally marked to enable visitors peace of mind parking. We liked - privacy, nature reserve theme. Peace and quiet. Very friendly staff.

This place was absolutely amazing! The time we were there, there was no signal or wifi but that was no problem it gave us all time to disconnect and connect more with each other. The game drive was utterly beautiful and the guide was so amazing and informative of what types of trees and animals there are. There were a few problems but not major ones, small things like there was water everywhere due to previous floods which they are working on fixing as well as the pool and put-put being unavailable but again they were in the process of fixing it. The food was wonderful and was presented in an amazing fashion. The staff were also amazing and friendly except for one person at the shop. The road to the place was a bit rough but the views you get driving makes it better. I would recommend going here but later in the year when most of their stuff is fixed. Rooms: The rooms were great and clean every day 10/10. Nearby activities: If you are willing to drive a little out there are some great restaurants but DO NOT go to jes park! Safety: I did not feel in any danger there the security was nice but also on alert, the only fear I had was a monkey stealing my toast in the morning. Walkability: Everything is in walking distance on nicely laid stone paths but also far enough for a nice jog. Food & drinks: Food and drink were absolutely amazing 10/10. Noteworthy details: No signal/wifi but will be fixed due to them switching providers.

Accommodation ✅ Staff ✅

Reception and guides very friendly and helpful. Walkability: Walking trails provide excellent view points.

Serene setting and great facilities. The staff was very helpful and friendly...we really enjoyed our stay, a real Bushveld experience!

Loved our weekend. Beautiful place. The resort is busy upgrading so our unit was not 100% but the friendly staff and stunning surroundings made up for it.

What a wonderful place to relax and spend time in nature. With lots of activities for adults and fun things for kids. Will be going back again soon.

The units were very comfortable, the surroundings stunning and tranquil. the floods damaged alot of the facilities so for the kids it was not Soo good.

The friendly and helpful restaurant staff. The luxury chalet was stunning. The amenities in the chalet were top notch. The scenery in the resort is spectacular. The restaurant and bar setup is quite charming. I enjoyed watching the Madrid tennis open on their moerse big TV outside the bar. While watching my children having fun in the kids play area and games room.

Location gets a 3 because there is a 12km dirt road to the resort that is not well kept... after rains the short trip is daunting especially if u drive a sedan Rooms: Self catering thatched roof cottages. Safety: Gated environment. Safe. Food & drinks: Restaurant on site . Reasonably priced.

I surely have to compliment a young English man who assisted us, despite the high rains he and his crew made us feel at peace, and the quality of service was above my imagination, will recommend them to anyone who looks for quality service.
