Well maintained very clean and staff friendly and helpful
Great and comfortable place to stay in Plett if you are looking for a reasonable, economical option. It is close to everything as long as you have a car. No sea views but the units are comfortable and the staff is very pleasant. I was amazed seeing a resident owl daily for the whole of our stay (it probably lives on the bunnies that are in the resort) and abundant bird life in the gardens. Rooms: Comfortable self catering units.
Beautiful and Tranquil. Loved the location as it’s central. Great for families with small kids. Very clean and very green. The self catering houses are spacious and the kitchens had everything you could need. The outside braai area and house was maintained daily by the awesome staff and was such a spoil. It’s good value for money considering the location and the amenities.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. Our unit was spotlessly clean, comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy a home-cooked meal — and, of course, a proper South African braai outside! 🇿🇦🔥 The service throughout our stay was excellent. Our unit was cleaned every day, always on time, and the entire resort made it so easy to simply switch off, relax and enjoy our break. I was even treated to a lovely manicure at the salon at the resort, which was such a special little spoil during our getaway. 💅 But nothing could have prepared us for how this holiday would end… On our last night in Plettenberg Bay, we got engaged on the beach! 💍❤️🌊 What started as an amazing prize became one of the most memorable trips of our lives and a getaway we will honestly never forget!! If you have children this is the place for you. Our kids had an absolute joll They made friends and enjoyed the various kids amenities and kids planned activities. The rooms were well thought out and comfortable. The staff were friendly and always happy to assist. There are also loads if things to do in and around plett. Great place. The Resort is great, there are lots of activities for kids, onsight salon, restaurant and beautiful gardens and pools Rooms: It's okay, the rooms are decent size , all amenities are provided, linens, soap, towels... Nearby activities: There is a beach not far from the resort, lots of places to visit within a 30 minute drive. Safety: We didn't have any issues with safety, there are 24 hour security onsite. Food & drinks: There is a restaurant at the resort

Hotel is right on the highway. And right in the town too. Many Nearby restaurant and pubs within 2 kms. Hotel has enough parking. There is a separate play area for kids too. Table tennis, indoor pool table and so many activities for adults too. One of the pool is heated one. Cheey on the top. The breakfast was amazing and its waffle cannot be missed at any cost. Highly recommend. Service was also great. Every room had a outdoor barbecue and we'll equipped kitchen too. Rooms are big snd everyone had an extra bed too foldable from the sofa Rooms: Nice and big and clean. Safety: Safe. Walkability: Yes. Food & drinks: Waffle are amazing

The offer for kids is great, nice pools, mini golf, tennis court and play rooms. The rooms were well equipped but the cleanliness did not meet our expectations. The jumping pillows were down for maintenance. The access to the cafe was handy, offering a good selection for breakfast or lunch. The staff even organised an Easter Egg Hunt (as we stayed over the holidays) - so real focus on making this rememberable for the kids.

Our unit was neat and clean,very friendly staff,the pool areas are very relaxing and scenic,just didn't enjoy the waffle it was very though we really looked forward for the waffles and the milkshakes, I truely enjoyed the milkshakes had a blueberry cheesecake shake it was delicious 😋 and we tried the Thursday cheeseburger special it was awesome Rooms: Neat,big. Nearby activities: Yes. Safety: Yes. Walkability: Yes. Food & drinks: Restaurant on-site my opinion I think the waffles need attention didn't enjoy it.
The breakfasts were good with a nice range of options. The swimming pools (cool and heated), and their surrounds, are lovely. The activities for the whole family make for a fun getaway. The area of Plettenberg Bay has a lot to offer.

We had a wonderful stay at Formosa Bay Resort in Plettenberg Bay. Our self-catering accommodation was comfortable and well equipped, it had everything we needed for a relaxed family holiday. Housekeeping was excellent and consistently reliable. The location is truly ideal, with close proximity to everything in town, which made getting around very easy. We also had good, reliable internet throughout our stay, which was a big plus. The facilities are fantastic, especially for families with young children. Our nearly three-year-old son was in his element! Highlights for him were the heated pool, the jump pad, and the playroom. We also absolutely loved the bunnies! Such a sweet touch. The only downside for us was the restaurant. While the portions are generous, the service was consistently slow and the food itself was a bit of a letdown. Overall, we had a great stay. We were there for a week at the end of January, and it wasn’t too busy at all. There was ample parking and the security is excellent. We would definitely return.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Formosa Bay Resort. Great amenities, friendly staff all round. Properties are neat and spacious. Looking forward to the next stay! Nearby activities: Gym with Sauna, semi heated pool with a cool water slide to keep the kids and adults entertained for hours. Waffle house restuarant on site, great value and great food. Safety: All rooms fitted with smoke alarms, property behind a locked gate and security patrol. Walkability: All properties are easily accessible. Food & drinks: They have an on site Cafe that sells refreshments and snacks at reception and restaurant.
Room was a standard clean room. Morning at 9 while we were busy getting dress someone climb up with a ladder to clean the braai. Wanted to play games had to buy balls but they had no coins and we had to drive to fuel station to get coins. Should work on client service skills.
It was everything one could ask for for our 50th wedding anniversary. Staff treated us like celebrities. Wonderful facilities to enjoy along with our dear family.

Wir hatten uns die Unterkunft von den Bildern her ein wenig anders vorgestellt. Scheinbar werden nur sehr wenige Apartments über Booking vermietet, der Rest sind Südafrikaner oder Pensionäre, die die Apartments über ein Punktesystem mieten können. Das Personal war sehr nett und der Waffelladen zum frühstücken sehr gut. Auch der warme Pool war super, da es an unseren Tagen geregnet hat und frisch war für Februar.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, die Innenstadt von Plettenberg Bay ist mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants. Die Unterkunft war sauber und bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Kinder wie auch für Erwachsene, darunter ein sehr gutes Fitnessstudio, einen Tennisplatz und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
