I had a lovely holiday experience at kingdom. The staff members Bassie and Sindiswa ( who were part of Fun Fantastic )were AMAZING. Bassie and Sindi really made my stay enjoyable and fun. I will never forget how l felt being around them. I really appreciate them. They are amazing people. Bassie is very good with kids and laughing with Sindi was refreshing.

I recommend to anyone who is a sucker for a nice cozy living unit away from home. Rooms: Rooms were super well kept and cozy and spacious as well. Nearby activities: Activities were limited only due to the weather (rainy weekend) Safety: Place is super safe,and the staff ensure that you don't get lost and direct you to where you need to be. Walkability: Most places are a good walking distance which is good for exercise,though some need you to use your car or take a golf cart
So far so good. Just arrived ,be sure to bring your ID or a picture if whomever the rooms were booked unders name as that is required. Otherwise they give you popcorn and fruit juice at reception when you arrive. Very VERY friendly staff.

The place is very beautiful and the staff is very warm. The entertainment within the resort is also 👌. We had a quad bike game viewing with Muneiwa and he was excellent. Location and facilities. The sound of a roaring lion from the nearby game reserve during the night was soo pacifying.
Really enjoyed staying here, we were 4 adults in a 2 bedroom self catering villa. There are activities on site, and they organise family activities each day. The 18 hole putt putt is fun, they have integrated the water feature into the course. It is a couple of kilometres from Sun City, with an hourly shuttle which can be booked at Reception. Villa was spacious, with outside furniture, braai area and splash pool. Staff are friendly and clean the place well. We used the Spa which is well designed, massage and facials were good. The only negative was the onsite dinner restaurant, Acacia table, buffet food quality average and over priced. Nearby activities: Game walk and drives available in the Pilansberg. Many activities available in Sun City. Safety: Completely safe

Excellent facilities. Really superior comfortable suite perfect for a family of 4. There was one heated pool open for families. We stayed her to visit Pilanesburg and honestly I would take that money and go to Kruger instead. It is soo expensive and very very hard to spot wildlife. The paid activities are quite reasonable

Das Hotel war für eine Nacht gut geeignet. Die Betten waren bequem. Allerdings hatten wir im Doppelbett für 2 Personen jeweils nur 1 Bettdecke. Da es warm war, reichte die Bettdecke (Übergröße) aus, im Winter wäre es uns zu wenig gewesen. Das Zimmer war sehr warm und die Fenster lassen sich leider zum Durchlüften nicht komplett öffnen (verständlicher Weise). Da wäre eine gute Klimaanlage notwendig gewesen. Für eine Nacht sehr gut geeignet, vor allem das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist grandios (wenn man die Nähe zum Airport benötigt). Das Personal ist super, super nett und hilfsbereit!!!! Gerne wieder!

Very nice resort close to Pilanesberg NP. Nice rooms and peaceful atmosphere. There were some chicken options missing at breakfast and dinner for people that can not eat other meat. Also one day no room service was done. Please also check upfront the dates for activities as they need to be booked a day in advance. Overall I did enjoy the stay

The facilities to have fun activities are fantastic at this venue and the fact that there are various options to choose from for family experiences. I also really like the proximity to get to Sun City. It's really close and this makes it all the more ideal to stay in.

Our stay was lovely. Enjoyed the activities on the premises and the restaurant. All though I wasn't sure if we are supposed to tip the waiters and waitresses as they don't bring a pen when issuing the bill. Rooms: The accommodation is nice, comfortable and have nice views. Nearby activities: The venue has a lot of activities for families and Friends (Archery, swimming pools, pudding golf, trampolines, tennis courts, Game drives and more. Safety: It is very safe. Walkability: You can walk to all the activities in the vicinity. Food & drinks: There is a restaurant and a convenience store on the premises. Noteworthy details: Try to book your Spa sessions online to get discounts. Also review the type of accommodation you're booking as not all have braking areas. Double check your hot water as they use gas heaters, incase you need to have gas cylinder changed.

There was a wide selection of hot and cold items, including fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, and hot drinks. The food was well prepared and regularly replenished, making breakfast a very enjoyable start to the day.
It’s an airport hotel. But the staff are cool.
We booked the two bedroom villa with splash pool for 2 nights, and it exceeded our expectations. Clean, beautiful and spacious. The service was excellent. My only complaint is the hard double bed, but that won't stop me from going back there. Everywhere was within walking distance and perfect for children. Rooms: 2 bedroom. Nearby activities: Qued biking, Pedal, day spar, pools, restaurant, bar. Safety: Very safe. Your teenagers can walk around on there own and do there own activities. Walkability: Good Walking distance and shuttle service available. Food & drinks: Buffet breakfast and dinner was excellent and I highly recommend it.

We stayed at this hotel because was conveniently located close to our activities. Breakfast was good. Parking is expensive. €20 per day. But we managed to park behind the hotel for free. There is an excellent restaurant at walking distance with region food. Overall, was very good stay.

Parking ok, although narrow places. Bedsofa for the 2 kids (14 and 15 years old) was okay, but blanket was to small for 2 persons. Super breakfast buffet, al lot of choice!

It’s was my second visit, the first visit was booked through holiday club and i think the type of accommodation was as per their request which wasn’t really ideal for family with kids far from us. This time we did a direct booking and the accommodation was customized to our needs , amazing. The staff customer service is world class. I so wish we can find a booking to spend Christmas’s at the resort.

We recently stayed at the Kingdom Resort and it was really a great experience. Its really great for family weekends, the pools were really great although it was cold weekend. The staff and cleanliness was top notch. You can hear the lions in the evening, almost feels like they are the same area.

Vi har använt detta hotell i flera år när vi reser som familj genom Europa. Frukost ingår och parkering finns(20EUR, lite dyrt). Nära till restaurang, bra o lugnt område. Kan absolut rekommendera och vi lär komma tillbaka igen.
Lots of fun activities to do with the kids and even used the heated pool in winter. Would be better to go when slightly warmer as the waterpark has great slides with cold water. Very friendly staff. Loved the quad bike game drive for the family! The put put was also special. Paddle court was a really fun option. Being 5 Min away from sun city and a few take away places made meals more affordable off site. The buffet at the restaurant was a nice option, although a bit pricey for most families to do every day. The on site cafe has more affordable meals, but going off site to dine is the most affordable option. Definitely a great option for a family holiday!
Breakfast was good. Air conditioned room great. Please note that there are only a handful of free parking behind the hotel. The bigger parking lot is not free.

The location was great for us visiting friends in Bakubung. Our lodge had everything we needed and was very clean. The facilities, restaurant and bar were excellent and all staff were so helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend to friends.

The rooms were nice and spacious, a bit strange as there were keycard locks on each door so closed the kitchen door one night and key card was in there, so had to go to reception to get a new one. Restaurant had a buffet each night which was good.
In der Duschkabine war der duschgummi defekt, zusätzlich ging die tür zum Sanitärbereich sehr schwergängig. Frühstück war mega, so eine große Auswahl hatte ich nicht erwartet.

The Kingdom resorts has expanded a lot from the last we were there with kids. They now lots of amenities, they have new swimming pools near the water park new heated pools, the restaurants has been renovated with a great facelift and a room for kids to play. We went as 2 couples, but we plan to take our kids the during September school holidays.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent, with lovely food. We did not have breakfast, but we will definitely try it next time we visit. Our room was comfortable, and the staff were very accommodating. One day we did not have water, but it was fixed soon after we reported it. We stayed in Chalet 3; please just check the fridge, as it did not get very cold.

The room is fairly clean. The carpet overall in the hotel is worn and a bit smelly. The breakfast is great quality and provides a lot of choices. The hotel is about 6 miles from the airport. You can walk to some ponds near the hotel and take a good walk around the hotel. It was quite relaxing.

The Kingdom Resort has one of the best facilities in South Africa. They have created a strong brand and it is well taken care. From the staff to the facilities I don't have much complaints. Nearby activities: Big 5 game drive and Sun City are some of the best nearby activities or places to visit during your stay. Safety: It is a safe and well protected place. Walkability: You can walk around the facilities and it's a good morning walk or afternoon. Food & drinks: There is a restaurant for breakfast and dinner provide meals on a buffet. During the day a CAFE is open

The property was clean and well maintained. The staff was professional and very courteous. The only thing that was bothering me was the lack of air conditioning in the lobby and in the room. It was a super hot day and the “air conditioning” in the room was blowing hot air. The whole hotel was hot. I understand that German hotels sometimes lack air conditioning, but this is an international chain of hotels, I would expect it to have a decent air conditioning system. Basic breakfast is provided and hotel transportation from the airport is provided, but to the airport they charge 10 euros.

The property is clean and well maintained. As of many hotels in Europe it suffers from lack of proper climate control systems in the rooms. This hotel is very isolated from any type of shopping or restaurants, with that said you will need to walk or have a rented vehicle to get anywhere. Aside from that, this is a great hotel for the price.
Clean & friendly staff, dog friendly and honestly best stay for when you’re flying out the next day and want to take advantage of the surrounding lakes and trails. Gives it less of an airport hotel kinda vibe but a last relaxing resort for an upcoming day of travels. Big bonus is the huge Restaurant & Biergarten just across the street. Will definitely be back

A few things to consider before booking this for fellow travelers: 1) This location is outside the park and Sun City, so you will need to purchase separate tickets for both since you are staying outside. 2) They have a convenience store and restaurant on-site, which is good, but the store closes very early. 3) Check-in is at 3 PM and checkout is at 10 AM sharp. The 3 PM check-in is late for your evening game drive, and the 10 AM checkout makes it difficult to return from the morning game drive, so it can be tricky. 4) The staff's behavior and attitude could be improved. I have stayed in five-star and other four-star places where the staff is very friendly. However, here, the staff seems strict and rules-oriented, and I sensed a bit of attitude from all of them. The atmosphere is less welcoming than at the park. Considering the other features, such as park entry and the game drives they offer, it might have been cheaper to stay inside the park rather than here.
I stayed here for one night while waiting for my flight back Los Angeles. The experience was excellent and the cost was much less than other hotels around the airport. I took the shuttle to the airport. It was on time and went very well.
The staff were very accommodating to our large family (eight total). I would certainly recommend it. Only issue was the distance from the airport, and lack availability of airport pickup service . Perhaps a reservation system for that service would be advisable. Breakfast was great.
I liked that they offer a shuttle from the airport, note that the shuttle back to the airport is not included and it has a price of $10 per person, even so, t it is conveniently close to the airport, about 15 minutes. The thing that bothered me the most was the size of the room we were given, we couldn't almost walk around the room. The bathroom was decent and it had shower/shampoo soap and you can request anything you forgot to bring to the front desk. It doesn't have a restaurant for dinner, there is one close by but we were so tired that venturing outside the hotel was not enticing at all. In conclusion, decent economic option for an overnight stay to catch a flight.

Beautiful design, but the shower setup is awkward. I really loved the location and the overall design of the resort—it's beautiful. However, management should really relook at the shower design. The showerhead is fixed very high up on the ceiling, and the water angle cannot be adjusted to the guest's needs. Because the water pours straight down from the roof, you have to awkwardly tilt your head the entire time if you don't want the water hitting you directly over your head. It would be a much better experience if guests could adjust the shower water angle to their preference.

Exceeded our expectations, this was our 4th visit and best holiday yet! The facilities and activities for the family is just incredible. So much to do for all ages! The heated pool in June was a nice surprise. The accommodation feels 7 star! We will be back very soon.

Auf dem Zimmer gibt es einen Wasserkocher. Ausreichend Steckdosen und USB Anschlüsse für Ladegeräte. Gute Schallisolierung. Man hört durch Fenster und Wände nichts.

Perfect for a short stay near Frankfurt airport. Nice small but very functional, modern, clean rooms with coffee maker, ours should have better = more lighting, other rooms were brighter. Good beds, two single beds per room. Safe parking available for a fee. Friendly staff. Very Good breakfast included. Hotel has a bar that also serves some food and lots of vending machines. It’s conveniently located right next to the freeway but pretty quiet. Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Shuttle from Airport free, to the Airport 10 Euros, reserve in advance!
The only concern I have is with the room/unit cleaning service. On several occasions, the cleaners only arrived to clean the unit after 11:30 AM, and this continued for three consecutive days. This caused inconvenience and affected the overall experience. I would appreciate it if the cleaning schedule could be improved to ensure timely service.
This was not among the top Holiday Inn Express locations I have stayed at. The air conditioning did not work well and the room was too warm for comfortable sleeping. Parking was 20 Euros a night extra; the hotel shuttle was 10 Euros a person. The staff was pleasant and the location is good for easy airport access. The price is lower than most of the alternatives. I probably would not choose it again.

Staff was friendly upon arrival, checked in right away. We were surprised on how well they handled a huge group of soccer tournament families. Not to mention, how quiet the night went with all the kids. We were not part of it, but thought oh no, this could be problematic in getting sleep for an early morning flight. Thankfully, We didn’t hear anything!! Very happy about that! The airport is close by!

My friends and I based ourselves here for a few nights whilst we were visiting the Pilanesberg National Park. Not far from Bakubung Gate, so easy to get into the park first thing in the morning. The service and friendliness of the staff in the restaurant was excellent - particularly Thambi who gave us such a warm welcome in the evenings and was always interested in what we had done that day. A very good choice of hot and cold food from the buffet, as well as freshly cooked pizza and braai meat every evening. Delicious and good value!! Breakfast wasn't included in the rate but we were off to the park, so didn't get to see what this was like. Chalet was clean and comfortable - and the shower was very spacious. We were also able to sit outside on our terrace and enjoy the peace in the evenings. Parking is right in front of the chalet with a short walk to the door.
I absolutely loved the staff – they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The resort itself is beautiful, and I especially enjoyed the warm and cool pools, which made the experience even more relaxing. The location is fantastic, being so close to Sun City about 5 mins drive, veerryy nice. I also got to visit attractions like the Upside Down House - which was about an hour and 30 mins, including traffic and stop and go... More importantly, also appreciated the variety of activities offered by the resort. The staff that facilitated those activities were lovely and patient. Even though I travelled solo, I had such an enjoyable and memorable experience. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

Came with high expectations of the resort. The chalet was fantastic and the amenities were great. Staff helpful. The big fire game drive was excellent. What lets down the resort is the shambles that is the restaurant. The website advertises a nice restaurant with a great menu but is never open when you want it. Was open for lunch on weekends but not weekdays. Only served buffet food in the evening. So not sure is the point. None of this is on the website or on the menu. The restaurant looked like it was fully staff but it baffled me why so many s. If you want lunch during the week it’s the takeout by the water park. Bring your own food and braai or budget for eating out at Sun City (Use the shuttle bus) The restaurant issue is a reoccurring theme on reviews on trip advisor and seems platitudes are made by the owners but not addressed. Shame as we would have happily eaten every night of our stay in the restaurant. Perhaps something small could be done with having correct information on the website, at check in or even on the menu.

Durch eine lockere Duschstange in der Dusche hat sich mein Mann eine Verletzung am Schienbein zugezogen. Diese wurde vom Mitarbeiter dokumentiert und uns zugesagt, dass sich nach dem Wochenende jemand bei uns hierzu meldet. We love the kingdom resort. So much fun for the kids with the waterside, for the adults with the padel and mini golf. Just 3minutes away from Pilanesburg for amazing sightings.

Within minutes of both Pilansberg park and Sun City, this place is very well located. It has great facilities. Tge only negative is that only one of the restaurants is open each night. The night we were there was the buffet restaurant and there was no ala carte. However, apart from that, the Kingdom is faultless and a great place to stay.

Me and my family went here for a 5 day rest. Was worth it, people are super friendly there is tons to do. We had a day in the Pilansberg reserve. Prices are a bit aimed at overseas.

The resort is conveniently located and just a few minutes to Sun city, the major attraction in the province. Employee's understand the principles of service excellence. Rooms are spacious and homely.
If you're going to Pilanesburg chances are you want to go on a safari drive. The downside with the kingdom is that the drives are only allowed for I believe age 6 and up which is a problem if you're going with young kids. The facilities are great, modern, and there is a lot of activities for young kids. Choice of pools as well, including a warm pool which my kids loved. Overall a positive experience, but again if you want to see animals on a game drive I'd stay elsewhere (thank you Kwa maritane for providing a great safari experience!)

Everything about the place is great
Staff is very relaxed while also being helpful, which made us feel very comfortable. Had a blast with our three kids in the pool and doing activities on the resort. We got in several game drives as Pilanesberg gate is 5 minutes away. Restaurant food and service both excellent. Hope we can return.

Location is good, and a few minutes drive from Sun City and one of the gates at the Pilanesberg National Park. If you are looking for a quiet romantic getaway, then this is it. Even if you're going on a family vacation, there are lots of facilities for the kids to keep themselves busy. The price was definately value for money.

Me and family loved everything about the place,the food was exceptional,the cleanliness of the place was amazing,kids were able to enjoy the activities,the staff attitude is amazing,they help with everything they provide information needed,I really cannot fault the kingdom resort except for the restaurant at the bar next to slides,they don’t have hard copy menu,I ordered wings and asked how many are they when they come but the staff was unable to answer,she seemed uninterested and just said she doesn’t know.The food took an hour to come,it was just unpleasant.The restaurant near the entrance is exceptional,from the cleanliness,staff,food ,it was a 10/10.Overall experience was nice and wouldn’t mind coming back and referring friends.

Whilst the rooms are reasonably priced you are forced to have a choice of ONLY buffet breakfast and dinner at very high prices, especially if you are someone who doesn't eat very much. There are no other options except for lunch so that sends your bill up drastically. That is the catch. There needs to be more options for food for clients who don't eat buffet size meals. Otherwise really enjoyed the place.

The resort being close to Sun City is an added bonus. I didn't make prior bookings for the spa but the ladies at Body Bliss assisted us on the day. The spa is absolutely beautiful, calm, relaxing and the lady's are very professional.

We are on our last night at this resort. It has been a great few days and we will definitely return. We have a 2 bedroom villa with splash pool. The villa is really spacious and both bedrooms have their own bathroom. The kitchen area has everything you need for a self catering stay. Hob, oven, microwave and pots and pans etc. The resort has lots of activities to keep everyone entertained. There is also a heated pool, which is great for my son who feels the cold. The kids pool with the waterslides is fun too. It isnt far from sun city and there is a free shuttle to take you. The Acacia restaurant is really good. The buffet has lots of options, including cooking fresh meat in front of you. It is also good value for money. The staff are all friendly and helpful.
Sehr gut gelegen, ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto in den Nationalpark, direkt beim Hotel können Game Drives gebucht werden, großes Hotel mit verschiedenen Unterkunftsarten, sehr großes, geräumiges Haus, gut ausgestattet, alles vorhanden, was man für Self Catering benötigt. Reinigung erfolgt täglich, Check-In verlief sehr einfach und schnell. Sehr schöne Beach-Bar, wenn auch die Cocktails nicht so richtig gelingen.

I loved everything about this place, the staff is friendly across the resort - from security, reception to the lifeguard at the pools. Facilities are just what we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Definitely coming back...did not try the food. It was a short stay so will try it out the next time.

We verbleven hier altijd graag als we Pilanesberg park wilde bezoeken en waren blij met de visuele restaurant update. Echter avondeten in buffet-vorm is showstopper voor ons. En ook nog eens (in verhouding) erg duur. Jammer komen hier nooit meer terug, we willen gewoon ‘s avonds a la carte kunnen eten. Wat een conceptfout, zo jammer! Rooms: Heel ruim en schoon, niets op aan te merken. Food & drinks: Grote afknapper, tenzij je elke avond in buffet-vorm wil eten tegen hoofdprijs.
We stayed for one night on a last-minute booking, so it is difficult to give very detailed feedback on the full resort experience. It appears to be a great resort for families. Overall, we had a good stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location is very convenient for visiting Pilanesburg. The resort is large and offers many facilities, though we did not use any during our short visit.

Upon arrival the staff was kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. The hotel was easy to find and parking was a breeze (note: there is a charge for parking). The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent both for European and US standards. But I want to repeat that the staff was the best. They were so considerate of families and always willing to answer our questions with a smile on their faces.

The complex is primarily designed for holiday stays of South African families with children. Nevertheless, it is quiet here and everyone has their own privacy. The apartments are nicely equipped and clean, the staff at the entrance gate are friendly and helpful, as are the maids and waiters in the restaurant.

Please was very clean. Rooms were spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food is great in the restaurant!
