Great place to stay if you want to game view at pilansberg. Much better than staying in the park
Whilst the rooms are reasonably priced you are forced to have a choice of ONLY buffet breakfast and dinner at very high prices, especially if you are someone who doesn't eat very much. There are no other options except for lunch so that sends your bill up drastically. That is the catch. There needs to be more options for food for clients who don't eat buffet size meals. Otherwise really enjoyed the place.

The resort is so clean and well kept, the staff is neat at all times and mostly friendly and welcoming. I had a pleasant stay however there was one gentleman at the jungle bar who was not so friendly and polite.

The resort being close to Sun City is an added bonus. I didn't make prior bookings for the spa but the ladies at Body Bliss assisted us on the day. The spa is absolutely beautiful, calm, relaxing and the lady's are very professional.

Everything was excellent. The receptionist lady was very rude and ended up giving us 2 single beds while seeing that we are a couple and my request was clear when booking.

Had the most wonderful time there with our Family! Restaurant only has a full buffet option though... There was a Mammoth army or mosquitoes ans they ate my body up completely... Perhaps look into some repellant for the area or bedrooms or patios... Other than that, The Best time! Nearby activities: Sun City opposite the road. Safety: 💯

It's a very nice place very neat
We are on our last night at this resort. It has been a great few days and we will definitely return. We have a 2 bedroom villa with splash pool. The villa is really spacious and both bedrooms have their own bathroom. The kitchen area has everything you need for a self catering stay. Hob, oven, microwave and pots and pans etc. The resort has lots of activities to keep everyone entertained. There is also a heated pool, which is great for my son who feels the cold. The kids pool with the waterslides is fun too. It isnt far from sun city and there is a free shuttle to take you. The Acacia restaurant is really good. The buffet has lots of options, including cooking fresh meat in front of you. It is also good value for money. The staff are all friendly and helpful.
Sehr gut gelegen, ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto in den Nationalpark, direkt beim Hotel können Game Drives gebucht werden, großes Hotel mit verschiedenen Unterkunftsarten, sehr großes, geräumiges Haus, gut ausgestattet, alles vorhanden, was man für Self Catering benötigt. Reinigung erfolgt täglich, Check-In verlief sehr einfach und schnell. Sehr schöne Beach-Bar, wenn auch die Cocktails nicht so richtig gelingen.

I loved everything about this place, the staff is friendly across the resort - from security, reception to the lifeguard at the pools. Facilities are just what we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Definitely coming back...did not try the food. It was a short stay so will try it out the next time.

We verbleven hier altijd graag als we Pilanesberg park wilde bezoeken en waren blij met de visuele restaurant update. Echter avondeten in buffet-vorm is showstopper voor ons. En ook nog eens (in verhouding) erg duur. Jammer komen hier nooit meer terug, we willen gewoon ‘s avonds a la carte kunnen eten. Wat een conceptfout, zo jammer! Rooms: Heel ruim en schoon, niets op aan te merken. Food & drinks: Grote afknapper, tenzij je elke avond in buffet-vorm wil eten tegen hoofdprijs.
We stayed for one night on a last-minute booking, so it is difficult to give very detailed feedback on the full resort experience. It appears to be a great resort for families. Overall, we had a good stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location is very convenient for visiting Pilanesburg. The resort is large and offers many facilities, though we did not use any during our short visit.

Upon arrival the staff was kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. The hotel was easy to find and parking was a breeze (note: there is a charge for parking). The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent both for European and US standards. But I want to repeat that the staff was the best. They were so considerate of families and always willing to answer our questions with a smile on their faces.

The complex is primarily designed for holiday stays of South African families with children. Nevertheless, it is quiet here and everyone has their own privacy. The apartments are nicely equipped and clean, the staff at the entrance gate are friendly and helpful, as are the maids and waiters in the restaurant.

Fantastic resort, very neat and tidy and lots on offer to do, like swimming, putt putt and safaris. The Acacia Table was excellent for dinner and breakfast, both were a buffet and range and quality of food was great.

Sehr schöne Anlage, die wirklich optisch sehr schön gestaltet ist. Es gibt viele tolle Aktivitäten für Kinder. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr sauber und das Personal nett. Leider gibt es bei den Pools nicht richtig Schatten für Babys. Bei den überdachten liegen kommt trotzdem immer Sonne durch. Zusätzlich sind die Betten extrem kurz, sodass ich mit 1,70m gerade so rein gepasst habe. Bei meinem Mann hingen die Füße übers Bett. Es wäre sinnvoll ein Moskitonetz anzubringen, da es extrem viele Stechmücken gibt.

We particularly appreciated the diverse range of activities offered, and the facilities, including the pools, were maintained in an impeccable condition. Rooms: Rooms are very clean and in great conditions. Nearby activities: This resort is very close to Pilanesberg Safari park and the resort offer several tours to the park with an experienced guide. Safety: It's super safe to wander around the whole park, with enough security and assistance from the staff. Food & drinks: The food and beverage selection is excellent; however, there can be occasional delays in order fulfillment. Enhancing service by providing poolside attendance would be a valuable improvement. Noteworthy details: It's strange that there are no showers available around the pool area.

Really nice resort, they've made a lot of positive changes sibce the last time we stayed at the resort. General in room service was good (rooms are clean) but service at the restaurants was average.
The place is as per the advertised photos. Pools all over the place and not to forget the friendly stuff. Theor rooms are cozy and neat too, feels like home but has a hotel vibe.

Great location a few minutes drive from Sun City. Beautiful resort surrounded with scenic mountain views, has amazing accommodation and plenty of activities to partake in within and outside the resort. This resort is definitely underrated, it surpassed our expectations………great value for money and will definitely be coming back. A big shout out to KB our Quad Bike guide………thanks for the experience bruv. Always a big shout out to House Keeping who did an amazing job every day without fail.

Great experience with friendly and helpful staff! There was an issue with the air on arrival and it was promptly taken care of. Honestly for the price comparing to Sun City Accommodation and the proximity to the Pilanesberg National Park, it’s a super good deal. The Kingdom Resort is always tops for some family time, for some adventure, for some rest and recuperation. The staff are kind and welcoming. The villa with the a splash pool is worth it. Rooms: The Kingdom Resort offers chalets and self catering villas. Not all villas have splash pools. Nearby activities: Leap Adventures offers a number of activities within the resort. Also there is Sun City and Pilanesberg outside of the resort. Safety: Safety and security is ensured at the resort. Walkability: Places of interest within the resort are all in walking distance. Food & drinks: Food and drinks are offered at their Jungle Bar and their Acacia Table restaurant.
What a lovely stay we had. The kids did not want to leave. Rooms: The rooms are quite adequate & comfortable. Nearby activities: When you run out of activities on the resort you can go to the suncity resort which is very close and other places. Safety: The resort is very safe. Walkability: You can walk but due to the heat during the day it was easier to just drive and there was ample parking all over the resort. Food & drinks: The food was good & the breakfast buffet was packed with many different options. Noteworthy details: Excellent for a long family vacation as many of the activities are scheduled and offered on different days so we missed some of them but we had an amazing time still. The heated pool was just awesome in the evenings when the kids didn't want to leave the pool.

Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig und gut ausgestattet. Der Empfang im Hotel war freundlich, aber nicht herzlich. Leider waren die Nachbarn zunächst etwas laut. Die im Vorfeld geäußerten Wünsche hinsichtlich Etage und zweier nebeneinander gelegener Zimmer (2 Zimmer wurden reserviert) wurden nicht erfüllt. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und gut.

the bathroom was really nice and well put together. It had a clean, fresh feel to it, and I could tell a lot of thought went into the design. The fixtures were modern, and everything looked spotless. Made the whole stay a bit more comfortable and relaxing, which is always appreciated
We loved our stay at the Kingdom Resort! It was stunningly beautiful, extremely clean, and the friendliest/ most helpful staff. The rooms were generously sized (we stayed in two different self-catering family units - due to a mix up on our part). We loved all the swimming pool options and the restaurants were great. We did the rare game drive, which was also very interesting due to the knowledgeable guide. We had easy access to Sun City and Pilanesberg from there. There is a small shopping centre close by where we went for groceries and petrol.

Beautiful family resort. The units are very spacious n modern, and well maintained. The pool and activity areas are lovely and well maintained, loads of entertainment and amenities for the kids including a movie being screened under the stairs. The only negative is the lack of service at the beach bar and beer fridges not working. Lack of shaded areas around the pool was also not very pleasant. A beautiful time with families apart from the above.
Cleanliness was tops and hospitality was great. I had the greatest time of my life with my partner. Hope to come back next time.

It's a gem, however it lacks some fundamentals. Accommodation is good, clean and very comfortable. There is a big flaw, Service. The areas are not serviced by waiters so getting any refreshments takes a serious walk. Kids entertainment non existent except for pool area, other events all cost money. This resort lacks an entertainment manager. The Acacia Table Restaurant was fantastic. The resort seriously lacked atmosphere and vibe, a thing that kept items very boring. Value, too much cost, for very little value.

The views were stunning! The staff were friendly and helpful. However, I have to be honest, it wasn't quite the wow experience I was hoping for. While everything was fine, it just didn't quite blow me away. I'd say it was good, but I'm not rushing to go back again anytime soon. Still, definitely worth it for the scenery alone!
After checking in there was no help,the resort is big and we had to find out way at night. Our room was also not cleaned the following morning and the reception staff member was arrogant

Theres alot to love about this place. I stayed at the self catering studio apartment. Pros: neat and modern look , undercover parkings( small but atleast its there), nicly layed out resort, alot pools, kids pool area very nice. Cons: the restaurants needs better selections, prices are to high, rooms need maybe a table to eat on, tv is a smart tv yet cannot connect to room wifi for YouTube or netflex, pools should be heated as not everyday is hot. The main restaurant was closed for renovations which made it harder for food options and no discount was given to the accommodation as this impacts the stay which is why it losses a star just for this. Its a average place in my view, just bring your bug spray and mosquito plug and spray, its needed trust me

Walkability: Not okay to walk at night,it's too dark

Enjoyed our 4 days at The Kingdom, staff were very friendly and they have amazing facilities. Ground upkeep we gave a 4 star as there were several bottles and papers next to pathways which is not picked up by staff. Room we also gave a 4.5 as they don’t have separate complimentary shampoo, the bottle is also filled with hand soap and not a good quality shampoo. Other than this we enjoyed our stay, food was great and definitely worth a visit.
Beautiful resort and amazing amenities. Room. was clean and well stocked. We were only there for one night but will definitely come back with the kids. The only downside was the mosquitos and no bug spray 😢 other than that everything was perfect and we can’t wait to come back

An absolutely amazing place and we had an awesome stay. I loved it... The kids loved it, especially the splash kingdom. Only down side was the service at the Jungle Bar/Cafe, they were so slow, they seemed overwhelmed (maybe becausethe 2nd restaurant was under renovation). Overall, it was good, and I would definitely go back.

It looks all nice and would be a nice holiday for a family, the facilities etc are family like. The rooms look good but the most important is a good night's rest. Here is where they fail. We know South Africans like a hard bed, but this resort managed to find beds harder than hard. Certainly not up to international standards and it is almost impossible to get a good night's rest for international tourists. If you let the staff know, then they don't know what to do and start defending, instead of dealing with it. The reception supervisor was better, once he came over, he got someone to deal with it. Their solution is to put a blanket underneath??? Really... that's barely better... a resort like this cannot afford a matrass topper... Even better, maybe revise your beds to international standards and train your staff in what do if something is not up to scratch.

I got there yesterday and I must state my dissatisfaction on the kitchen/restaurant staff. We had a whole experience where we ordered drinks and waited a while to be assisted. They kept playing around. Then this morning at breakfast, finished my food waiting for eggs, which I kept following up time and again. Also, our coffees took forever to be done. I sense they do this because there’s no manager on site. Can this issue please be resolved so that we do not experience this again as we are leaving on Sunday. Having to wait for eggs and coffee. I heard a mom with a son walking out complaining about the same issue. They were all over the place, yet no one took us serious. Otherwise the place is nice and cosy
Room i in good condiotion but they dont provide drinking water from day two. ACTUALLY we suffered thirsty since we arrived a bit late and the restaurant where you can buy water was closed. Since I booked via Booking.com, there was no option for breakfast only to learn this hapens in their official website. The wifi is pathetic. You can rely on it for work

The spa treatment was exceptional I would highly recommend that you ask for Boitumelo is you want to do a massage...she is incredible I feel so relaxed. Lastly some of the activities should not come ay a cost they should be complementary as part of the booking for a stay. Overall it was a good experience

Room, I have never seen such cleanliness. I came from suncity and our room was spotless. Thank you so much for making a beautiful experience for my family. The warm pool was the highlight for my kids, we even left suncity early because all they wanted was the pool and the pizza from your restaurant. The free shuttle service to suncity was my highlight one less thing to do. Thank you so much. Money well spent.

10/10 accommodation. Highly recommend. Our villa was cleaned to the tee. We were very comfortable and all amenities were provided. We did not get to use much of the facilities due to rain however we are looking forward to coming back soon.

Our room was clean, however very dated. The pillows were like a bag of oranges to sleep on. Lounge and pillows haven't been replaced since it was built? I booked a 2 bedroom villa to use the outdoors , the table and chairs were unsafe and unusable as were the two pool lounges . If this apartment is privately owned , the owners need to spend some money making it worth the money we spent to stay there. Stay somewhere else.

Our recent stay here was really lovely. Rooms are stunning and you really don't need to go anywhere as there are activities on site, 2 restaurants, a convenience store, a spa, waterslides , swimming pools. The slides were under maintenance during our visit but will definitely return so that the kids can enjoy it. No regrets. We actually extended our stay.

The resort is very nice and good for relaxation when resting. Loved the nature around the resort. The villas are spacious and neatly put to give privacy with the private patio. There is enough entertainment that caters to both kids and adults on the resort. In overall I do recommend it as a good first option than staying at Sun City hotels due to the value for money and the set up for the rooms makes you feel like you have your own home from home. Loved it.

We stayed here for 2 nights on arrival into the Pilanesberg area. Check in was easy, the rooms nicely decorated and comfortable. Grounds are well maintained. Beware, there is no assistance with luggage. Only 1 restaurant/cafe open due to maintenance which had a reasonably priced menu. The shuttle to Sun City must be booked, although they over book this so make sure you are early for your pick up or you’ll be waiting until the next round (around 45mins in our experience). Would recommend the resort for Families (kids seemed to be having a ball in the water park and pool areas) & those who have a car.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kingdom Resort and happily give it 5 stars. We did have an initial issue upon arrival where the WiFi was not working. However, Donald went above and beyond to help us. He was extremely dedicated and worked hard to find a solution, which we really appreciated. Thanks to his excellent service, the rest of our stay was perfect. The rooms (and houses) are very clean and well-equipped with everything you need. We were particularly impressed with the beds, which were very comfortable and had nice, firm mattresses. The resort seems to be very geared towards families, but we found it was also an excellent choice for a short stopover, even without children. We would definitely recommend it!

The staff were all amazing, the room and facilities great.
Check in is way too late in the day. No towels in the room - had to ask 3 times. TV channels were complex to access and many didn't work. Only one working restaurant way down at the play area with very few indoor tables - on a cold rainy day this was not ideal - food, beverages and drinks are ordered from 3 different places. Coffee and tea facilities provided in the room but no milk, only some weird plastic tasting powder mix. Shower mixer not so good, hard to get hot cold mix right and only had a large weak pressure

Booked for 2 days but can only book in at 15:00 so i then only received 1 and half day. Wanted to take shower in evening and morning no hot water. Aircon did not work properly cooling the room.

Going to the resort for the second time, I was impressed by the development going on and the helpful staff that attended to my queries. Our only issue was the limitedness of the menu at the jungle cafe,would like to have more varieties in the menu. Will definitely come back again.

Had a wonderful stay last weekend but realised my purse with all my important cards, driving licence, id and access card for work was missing. Never thought anyone would go inside our travelling bag and take a purse with just R60 and not leave everything behind💔😭💔 Safety: Not sure anymore😭💔

The Kingdom Resort is a beautiful holiday destination.It is child friendly. It is well kept.They have set daily activities which are child and family oriented, should you wish to participate. My family and I will definitely visit again.
Stayed only 1 night before a conference. It's very nice and has everything you need. It was better than expected. They need better pathway lighting at night.

We had such a wonderful stay! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the private braai area was absolutely lovely and so convenient. The heated pool was perfect, and there are loads of activities to enjoy – ideal for families. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. The only small challenge for Muslim guests is that the bathrooms don’t have a sink near the toilet to fill a jug, but otherwise everything was fantastic. Highly recommended!
The rooms were super clean and comfortable. There was a patio that backed onto bushland, to watch the sunset. It felt very private, and was a great base for a safari in the Pilanesburg park. There's also lots of facilities at the resort to keep the whole family happy.

Had a good stay overall, was only for one night, room was very comfortable with good amenities and a private patio to enjoy a sunset or morning coffee, buffet dinner was lovely with good food, Lighting and general vibe was great , could do with a little better service. Need to get finished with building works, and the stream running by the restaurant needs some attention. Rooms: Rooms are great with kitchenette, spacious bathroom and air-conditioning. Nearby activities: Lots to do ,needed more time. Safety: Good safety. Walkability: Fine during the day , got a bit lost at night trying to find the restaurant and back. Food & drinks: Good food, overall. Could do with an alacarte menu. Noteworthy details: Enjoyed the stay , wouldn't be able to afford a longer stay though

O resort tem uma ótima infraestrutura, com boa acomodação, boa comida e um atendimento ótimo. Fui em casal, mas pude perceber que tem uma infraestrutura preparada para quem vai com crianças. O resort oferece atrações como safári (que utilizei e é muito bom), spa e muitas atrações para crianças. Tem um minimercado dentro do resort, que serve para quem se hospeda em cabanas com cozinha, e uma lojinha com lembranças e artesanato. Me hospedaria novamente, com certeza!

We enjoyed our stay and everything met our expectation. Our room was a bit small but was clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and professional. We ate at the resturant a few times and the food was reasonable. We were very happy with the location as it is close to Sun City and the free shuttle worked very well for us.

The park is conveniently located near to the Pilansberg National Park gates. Grounds are family friendly and offer lots of activities for the kids. Staff were friendly and the rooms were very nice. We wanted to conduct guided night drives into the park but there was no offerings with the resort and staff were unable to direct us as to the best way to book something. We ended up talking directly with the Pilansberg National Park staff directly to book a drive.
It was a very costumer-centric experience. The staff were friendly everywhere. I really liked that when the scheduled game drives were fully booked they organized another one to accommodate the those of us who still wanted to enjoy. The whole spa experience (including booking) was very pleasant

A place to visit anytime. It was my second time but I can still go. Very nice and clean. Very welcoming, to both young and old. Rooms: Nice and clean. Nearby activities: A lot of activities especially for kids. Safety: Very safe, you can walk even at night. Though bushy but safe.
Have been coming for Kingdom for years and every time we go there are new improvements to the facilities, the staff are always amazing, it is comfortable and super convenient to get into Pilansburg, not to mention fantastic value for money. Will keep coming back for years to come.

A big shout-out to GM Andre for his thoughtful arrangements and support throughout. Our staff loved engaging with the Max app as part of our team build, and we truly felt treated like royalty. Great family friendly resort. Rooms: Rooms are well appointed with everything you need. Only issue was they do not tell you upfront you need to pay to use the heater in your room - about R650 for the week. Also, they do provide laundry service at a very reasonable rate. Food & drinks: Restaurant on site with good menu but limited breakfast buffet options. Noteworthy details: Heated pool, outdoor theatre. Do NOT book safaris with the resort. Book directly with the safari company. We booked with resort and only got a packet of chips and boxed orange juice in below freezing weather on the early morning safari when other tours provided hot coffee, breakfast and alcoholic beverages (coffee and amarula). When we enquired, we were told the resort chose the options and didnt provide anything for the driver.
