Going to the resort for the second time, I was impressed by the development going on and the helpful staff that attended to my queries. Our only issue was the limitedness of the menu at the jungle cafe,would like to have more varieties in the menu. Will definitely come back again.

Clean and easy to navigate
The Kingdom Resort is a beautiful holiday destination.It is child friendly. It is well kept.They have set daily activities which are child and family oriented, should you wish to participate. My family and I will definitely visit again.
Stayed only 1 night before a conference. It's very nice and has everything you need. It was better than expected. They need better pathway lighting at night.

We had such a wonderful stay! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the private braai area was absolutely lovely and so convenient. The heated pool was perfect, and there are loads of activities to enjoy – ideal for families. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. The only small challenge for Muslim guests is that the bathrooms don’t have a sink near the toilet to fill a jug, but otherwise everything was fantastic. Highly recommended!
The rooms were super clean and comfortable. There was a patio that backed onto bushland, to watch the sunset. It felt very private, and was a great base for a safari in the Pilanesburg park. There's also lots of facilities at the resort to keep the whole family happy.

Had a good stay overall, was only for one night, room was very comfortable with good amenities and a private patio to enjoy a sunset or morning coffee, buffet dinner was lovely with good food, Lighting and general vibe was great , could do with a little better service. Need to get finished with building works, and the stream running by the restaurant needs some attention. Rooms: Rooms are great with kitchenette, spacious bathroom and air-conditioning. Nearby activities: Lots to do ,needed more time. Safety: Good safety. Walkability: Fine during the day , got a bit lost at night trying to find the restaurant and back. Food & drinks: Good food, overall. Could do with an alacarte menu. Noteworthy details: Enjoyed the stay , wouldn't be able to afford a longer stay though

O resort tem uma ótima infraestrutura, com boa acomodação, boa comida e um atendimento ótimo. Fui em casal, mas pude perceber que tem uma infraestrutura preparada para quem vai com crianças. O resort oferece atrações como safári (que utilizei e é muito bom), spa e muitas atrações para crianças. Tem um minimercado dentro do resort, que serve para quem se hospeda em cabanas com cozinha, e uma lojinha com lembranças e artesanato. Me hospedaria novamente, com certeza!

We enjoyed our stay and everything met our expectation. Our room was a bit small but was clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and professional. We ate at the resturant a few times and the food was reasonable. We were very happy with the location as it is close to Sun City and the free shuttle worked very well for us.

The park is conveniently located near to the Pilansberg National Park gates. Grounds are family friendly and offer lots of activities for the kids. Staff were friendly and the rooms were very nice. We wanted to conduct guided night drives into the park but there was no offerings with the resort and staff were unable to direct us as to the best way to book something. We ended up talking directly with the Pilansberg National Park staff directly to book a drive.
It was a very costumer-centric experience. The staff were friendly everywhere. I really liked that when the scheduled game drives were fully booked they organized another one to accommodate the those of us who still wanted to enjoy. The whole spa experience (including booking) was very pleasant

A big shout-out to GM Andre for his thoughtful arrangements and support throughout. Our staff loved engaging with the Max app as part of our team build, and we truly felt treated like royalty. One of the best parts of staying here is the location — just a short drive from Pilanesberg National Park and Sun City. It was the perfect base for both safari adventures and family fun. Great family friendly resort. Rooms: Rooms are well appointed with everything you need. Only issue was they do not tell you upfront you need to pay to use the heater in your room - about R650 for the week. Also, they do provide laundry service at a very reasonable rate. Food & drinks: Restaurant on site with good menu but limited breakfast buffet options. Noteworthy details: Heated pool, outdoor theatre. Do NOT book safaris with the resort. Book directly with the safari company. We booked with resort and only got a packet of chips and boxed orange juice in below freezing weather on the early morning safari when other tours provided hot coffee, breakfast and alcoholic beverages (coffee and amarula). When we enquired, we were told the resort chose the options and didnt provide anything for the driver.

It was clean and easily accessible
A beautiful family friendly resort, with kids activities, restaurants and self catering units. Close to Suncity and the Pilansberg Park. You can book game drives and other activities at the resort. The self catering units are beautiful, luxurious and well maintained. By far, one of the best I've stayed at in South Africa. There's a small shopping village nearby, with a Spar supermarket, McDonald's, Engen. This area however is very dodgy, so don't go alone or at night. Can definitely be a great value for money holiday, with a bit of planning. Rooms: The self catering units are beautiful and luxurious. Well maintained, comfortable, with everything you need for your stay. Nearby activities: Sun City, Pilansberg National Park game drives and bush walks. Safety: Fairly safe, however the shopping village nearby is dodgy. Walkability: Need a vehicle to get around. Food & drinks: Well priced, good taste, many options. The closing times of restaurants are strange, they close very early. Perhaps that's because they expect people to braai or prepare their own meals due to the resort having self catering facilities. The cafe closes at 5pm. We were there at 4.30pm and it was already closed. There's another sit down restaurant that closes around 9pm. So you need to plan your meal times. Noteworthy details: The self catering accommodation is beautiful and well maintained. Suncity and the Pilansberg park are 5 minutes away. There's a shuttle to Suncity from the Kingdom resort, however the entry fee into Suncity is ridiculous, over R400 per person. The drive from OR Tambo airport to the Kingdom resort is fairly easy on good roads. Use the R565 route via Rustenberg.

Great resort with lots of potential. Food is also good and a lot to do. T. The water boats doesn't work as yet, no batteries and no one has been trained to operate it as yet. Staff for other activities like the rock climbing should also be trained better or more experience needed. The extractor fan in the bathrooms is way too small and doesn't work. General service is good and staff is friendly.
Brilliant and the best service we have had in a very long time. The food quart has a variety of food available, and well worth it. Can honestly say that nothing that we ate was not to satisfactory. Booking of the boma made the experience for the group so much better. Sitting at the fire whilst they prepare food. Great experience. Rooms: Clean and efficient. Room was well equipped for self catering. We used the outdoor fireplace for our braai and it was cleaned immediately the next morning. Loved the access to the pools and relaxing loungers etc.

The family room is very spacious, especially the braai area. The jungle cafe makes fantastic Pina coladas and other cotials, as well as the pizza at the restaurant. I enjoy that there are multiple pools / entertainment areas to select from. We were very happy that there was one heated pool, especially since it was winter

A real gem in the area. There are the usual historically strong resorts next to Sun city which are great in their own rights. This property is very family focused with loads of activities from a water park to paddke courts, rock climbing to heated pools, great rooms on offer, good location to Sun city, unique Antelope safari, good facilities and ease of resort movement . A really nice location to visit. Unwind and enjoy ... try it out next in the area or planning to visit.... 👌😎

Nice hospitality ,just vibes
It's affordable and located near a variety of nature reserves. The in-house restaurant has a variety of good foods. Although we went at the dawn of winter, we couldn't do water activities. However, we did the rare game quad biking, and it was the first time I did rode a quad bike, and it was a wonderful experience. I do recommend people to check this resort out as our experience is worth sharing.

Chalet very comfortable, neat and clean; well equipped(although no dishwasher and washing machine, as was advertised); staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant: staff very friendly and helpful. Texture of food (we only had muffins and pizzas) not very nice. In our opinion the quality of the food did not compare favourably with the quality of the accommodation (chalet). Layout of the property is very well done. Adequate amenities -cater for the whole family. Peaceful atmosphere. Loved the game drives, especially the Rare Wild Game Drive, although it is expensive for families with children. No interactive activities on the Rare Game Drive, as was advertised. Massage and facial at the Spa were very nice.

Chalet was clean and big. Leap adventures had an excellent game drive guide called TT. Hot water was not consistent, it either finishes very fast or the hot water lasts only for awhile. Airconditioner could not be adjusted.

Great facilities. We were harrazed by so many stray cats, roaming every where, eating anything they find. The result is that there is no bird life on the resort. Really a nuisance.

What a great resort to get away for a long weekend, close enough to Sun City that you can pop over to Valley of the waves, or the casino or dinner at one of the Sun City restaurants. But the Kingdom Resort has some great facilities with hot water swimming pool, outdoor cinema, putt putt, games and a Rare Game Drive. Rooms are clean neat and modern. It was a great choice Rooms: Modern, neat and spacious. Nearby activities: Swimming pools, putt putt, volleyball, outdoor cinema, bar. Safety: In a secure complex with 24-hr security
Liked the rooms as they were neat and clean. Best shower I've ever experienced and I travel the world 🤣. Liked the little touches of the Dove products left in the rooms. The pool area and the noodles were amazing. Great bar area to relax with your feet in the sand while sitting on swings and having cocktails to end the day. Surprisingly nice music played at the bar, keeps you there vibing. Loved that they have movie night at 7pm outside. Beautiful pools. Safe with great security...apparently the buffet is nice but we missed that. We did archery, the game drive with (MK) and movie night. Great for a short break.

We loved the spacious unit we stayed in - with a large lounge and kitchen (we had a two-bed unit) and the heated pool was amazing as we visited in autumn. The kids loved the novelty of the movie at night outdoors. We also enjoyed the putt putt and the jumping pillow.

We booked a Villa for 8 and it was perfect! Rooms were great, each had an en-suite and was plenty big enough.
Rooms: We booked and paid for 3 units but we're then advised you weren't allowed to gather in one unit, you must book the Boma at R1600. Nearby activities: Sun City entrance was R420 pet adult for a day visitor and you must be out by 6pm
Had a fantastic stay at Kingdom, the rooms fantastic lovely pool area and the food was fantastic.. Most importbatly the staff where fantastic and so.friendly . A short drive away.from.the Pilanesburg and there is a free shuttle to.aun city....Brilliant thank.you.for.a lovely stay.

There’s so much to do here, it’s a fantastic resort with friendly staff. Really enjoyed the restaurant on-site and the different swimming pools for just laying and reading or the heated pool for swimming this time of year.

Some areas that were pathways to the pool from the villa were very muddy from the rain.. would be nice if these paths could be made safer to walk on. Also the paths to the villas at night are not adequately lit up.

We had a very short stay there but it was beautiful. Although it was raining and we couldn't use the waterpark but my daughter enjoyed the warm pool. We'll definitely come back

Love the new pools, so nice, love the beach bar down by the kiddies pool area. The unit was nice and clean and well equipped, the resort looks well taken care of.

They have a spar and they provide other activities like a game drive. Safety: Was very safe, they do not allow day visitors. Food & drinks: The food was ok.

It’s very affordable for being close to the national park , dining option I really just one , breakfast is buffet style , if you want something else its a lunch sandwich ; unless you want to go to Sun City or somewhere else . It safe and staff is friendly .

Absolutely loved everything, a peaceful and tranquil getaway just 2 hours from Pretoria. The activities were great to keep the kids entertained and only 5 mins drive from Sun City.

I loved how secure it was and the friendliness of the stuff. I genuinely didn’t like the fact that our villa didn’t have a microwave. I don’t know why but I feel as though that’s one of the essentials in a self catering vicinity.
It is a nice place for a few days with children (if you have them) near Sun City. We had a Family Suite with a patio, although there is just the 2 of us. It is a spacious place with an outdoor patio partially enclosed with a fence. The bed is comfortable and the shower is excellent. There are some cooking facilities and there is a convenience store within the complex but it closes at 18:00, so we were late. We had to eat in their restaurant which is covered but open space and a view of the fountain if you find an appropriate table. There is a shuttle to Suncity but apparently there is an entrance fee for the suncity which we found rather strange. We understood Suncity to be a shopping and entertainment complex and one doesn’t expect to pay just to enter the place but there it is.
This is a great option rather than SunCity resort. It was clean, spacious, convenient to Pilanesberg, and soooo friendly! Just book it!
From the amazing food at dinner, (the burgers to be exact) to the game drive. ride to Sun City, the Spa resort, etc. Everything was perfect! Will definitely be returning in the future.

Absolutely wonderful experience, fantastic family resort, definitely will be going back.
Spent one night but it was awesome.
The place was so clean and had everything we needed, just the water was cold so could not have a hot shower in the evening, but they sorted it out. It's really nice wish we could have stayed longer.
The fact that you had to have the buffet breakfast and couldn't get something like a cup of coffee and a muffin for a more reasonable price was for me not good as I am not a great one on such a large breakfast.
Amazing resort with superb access to all the facilities in the area. Ate too much, played too much, now back to the grindstone.

Wow The Kingdom Resort was amazing from the gate guys,the reception,the restaurant,the rooms the service all round was amazing...you guys are truly the best.This is a special shout out to CHARMAINE at the reception who literally went beyond her call of duty trying to help me get headache tablets I mean she looked for everyone who could help and though it was late to get any help she did her absolute best.I would like to appreciate her selflessness and her genuine concern for my well being even though it was my 1st time there.And for that The kingdom Resort would be my new home in the NW. Our room was good, however we had a bathroom door that could not close we reported and was not fixed. The dining restaurant is really under par, you can tell it caters mostly for parents with small children. The waiters are not great, there was a lot of Flys and the breakfast was the same menu for the whole three days we were there. The restaurant was really a downer for me. The actual resort is beautiful, still feels new and feels very tranquil. We went for a Spa treatment thise ladies do not apply pressure correctly, they literally just brush you. I requested for the aircon to be switched off and that was apparently not allowed.

Our chalet was well equipped with everything we needed, very comfortable beds (including sofa bed) and location was great for the Pilansberg and Sun City. Got busy over the weekend, quieter on a week day. Rooms: Good size, comfy and well equipped. Nearby activities: Plenty to do in and around the resort. Safety: Complex felt very secure

O chalé de 2 quartos é incrível, tudo novinho, bem confortável, o The Kingdon é muito próximo ao Sun City e oferece a melhor opção de Safári, saímos com o Jeep da Leap, anexo ao hotel, diretamente ao parque. Os rangers são excelentes. Acertamos na escolha e voltaremos.

10/10 recommend….we had a lovely time and cannot wait to go back again..ohh my child still talks about our holiday till date .brilliant service from check-in,restaurant till check out. The only thing that’s needs improvement is the food ,your food lacks flavour and the pizza is a lil dry but overall amazing place .

Resort is great for family with kids. Arriving staff was great as they waited for us with a trolley to load our bags and take it to our chalet. Waitrons at the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating.

We were upgraded to a small chalet with 3 rooms (instead of using 3 separate rooms) and were really happy. We would have been happy to enjoy it even further (with night braai and cooking) but we were not prepared. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The people at the restaurant were also friendly.
