Everything at Dikhololo was so well maintained. The chalet was very clean, neat and spacious. Saw loads of animals. Pools were very clean. Staff was very friendly.
We absolutely loved all the animals and how comfortable they were around humans which meant we could interact with them closely. The swimming pool area is beautiful and well cared for and the activities for everyone was something different and kept everyone entertained.

Cleanliness of unitt
It was my first time at Dikhololo this weekend. The facilities are great and lots of activities. My only concern is only the main bedroom has an airconditioner. The top and bottom rooms are very hot during the nights. Any possibilities for airconditioners in those rooms? Otherwise it was a very nice weekend.
We had a great weekend away with our kids and grandkids. Lots to do for everyone. Everything neat and organized. Would love to go back.

Rooms: Thatch roof was leaking and they failed to assist in any sort of way. Nearby activities: Lots of activities. Safety: Very safe. Food & drinks: 1 store, very expensive but well stocked. Noteworthy details: Very clean with lots of activities. Facilities are neat and well kept. Staff was very good. Apart from leaking roof experience where they didnt offer any sort of compensation or attempt at correction.

We recently stayed at Dikhololo in the North West, and it remains a top-tier choice for a family getaway. The property is beautiful, clean, and clearly well-maintained. We stayed in a 4-sleeper duplex family chalet which has been recently refurbished—the fresh look made the stay feel much more modern and comfortable. The Highlights: Family Fun: There is no shortage of things to do. Between the pool slides, trampolines, and putt-putt, the kids were entertained from sunrise to sunset. Nature at Your Door: One of the best parts is the wildlife roaming freely through the resort. We also took a game drive which was well worth it. The Units: Each unit has its own outdoor braai and entertainment area, perfect for long evenings outside. Comfort: The AC in the units was a total lifesaver given the North West heat. Things to Know Before You Go: Electricity: The AC is a big help, but be aware that the units work on a prepaid meter system. You will need to purchase electricity units to keep it running. Onsite Shop: There is a shop on the property that stocks the basics, which is very convenient if you forget the essentials. Swimming: The warm pools are a massive plus, especially if the weather turns slightly cool or for early morning swims. Bottom Line: A wonderful, well-kept resort with great entertainment for the whole family. We’ll definitely be back!

We arrived at 1pm and check in was at 3pm. Because there was so much to do immediately after arriving, we only checked in after 5pm. It helped that the resort has so many activities and areas to sit and relax while you wait.
This accommodation is perfect for families with kids. The pools are enjoyable and in the main area kids can enjoy the pool, a jumping area and a playground. We made use of the heated pool when the weather did non let us use the external ones.

Our experience was nothing we imagined it was beyond our expectations. Best family fun holidays with every need met. From games, accommodation, meals and especially the variety of adventures we took part. Friendly staff and best location with great atmosphere 👌

I loved the friendly staff. My child got lost and within minutes of reporting, he was found, brought back to me at no extra costs. Quick response of staff when I needed assistance with the safe. I observed as the staff cleaned and apply sanitizer to the pool chair early in the morning. I am a runner and the streets and houses are located in such a way that i can run 10km and jump into a clean pool before the start. I liked the washing line in every house, which makes it easy to dry clothes after a swim or a run in that way, you are not stuck with smelly damp clothing even if you can't afford a laundromat on site

I liked the many activities that are family orientated. Friendly staff and beautiful lodge. The fact that there is a small shop that caters for all. My family and I had an absolute blast.
The resort is lovely. Rooms: Though far, very far from entrance, the rooms are amazing. Safety: Felt very safe and free. You could leave your belongings and go swim, and still find everything in place. Walkability: Rooms and main reception was quiet far from each other. End up making another trip on a trip and they are aware of it as they have a petrol station inside the resort. Food & drinks: Not too much variety. Only 1 restaurant with basic servings. I wouldn't say the food was WOW but also it's self catering so I guess they wouldn't be 5star hotel, but they can do better.

Game drive and spa. Our hotel room was perfect. Comfortable beds. Shower is perfect and water temperature perfect. Restaurant staff and their services is the best. We enjoyed our dinner. Especially chef KG and waiter Belinda did the perfect job for our braai dinner. Thank you very much.

Beautiful layout. Good food at the restaurant, braai area cleaned daily,friendly reception, lovely air-conditioned chalets and the small animal wildlife around is a treat. You get a visit twice a day!!. Mini golf and so much more to enjoy for the whole family. BUT...this is a big BUT. The dirt road deserves attention!!

Loved that there is so much to do for the kids and the braai was amazing. I would just suggest that guests pay a once off fee for all activities or get a card or something. To pay for everything seperately is sort of a shlep.

After a somewhat bumpy ride for a small car to reach Dikhololo, I was delighted with the deep bush experience. Surrounded by the sites and sounds of creation was balm to the soul. Early morning runs in the pristine air were energising. Staff and facilities were excellent.

I loved the fact that all the activities are held within Dikhololo. I also loved the heated pool. The quad biking was exceptional. The staff handling the quad biking and game drives know how to interact with people and they are friendly. We saw giraffes, zebras and a variety of bucks. What an absolute treat! All the appliances worked in our bungalow. They also provided an iron and hairdryer.

Dikhololo is a very comfortable resort well worth a visit.. There are a number of pools to chill off in, a restaurant and a well stocked convenience store, including a small bottle store. The reception are extremely friendly and helpful attending to all your needs. Animals (mostly kudu) walk through the resort and the birdlife is plentiful.. 😊

The animals are beautiful and such an experience and a shout out to the monkeys that kept us entertained as well, absolutely love the monkeys, our favorite being the one with the missing hand, he is unforgettable. Highly recommend this resort.

The dirt road leading to the main gate does have some intense corrugation which will shake most cars, unless it's an offroader or a 4x4 of sorts

Nice place!
Relaxing resort ideal for family getaways. Reception staff could be more polite though. We visited Dikhololo during August , there was a water leak in the bathroom of the unit so we were moved to another unit the next day ,thank you for that. What I noticed in both the units is the up keep of the bathroomsis not up to standard, the glass shower doors are dull and dirty ,shower floors also not cleaned regularly. Needless to say that bathroom hygiene is most important. Management please monitor and get those showers shining. Please explain why are guests paying for the indoor pools and for using the air-conditioning, in the units ?? Rooms: Spacious and neat

We liked the location looking out onto the bush rather than the communal braai and pool area. The unit was spacious and clean and refurbished. It was much more comfortable than the unit we were in last year that was old and in need of refurbishment.

Ek sien in die boekie toevallig daar's 'n QR Code om te rapporteer as iets nie werk nie, en dink, goed, as ek nou rapporteer is dit teen Maandag reg. Nie eers 'n uur later nie, kom die diens trokkie met 'n tegnikus hier gestop om ons lig reg te maak! 8pm die aand. Op 'n Vrydag! Nee goeie werk tjom!

A beautiful hideaway!! This place was amazing; we stayed in Gemsbok, the unit was clean, neat. beautiful and serviced daily. The staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful. The resort has so many activities and a planned program for both kids and adults. The restaurant has delicious food and drinks (I especially enjoyed the pizzas, hake and chips and the cocktails) . The activities at Leap Adventures, the spa and heated pools and outdoor pools were alot of fun. The road 15kms to the resort is gravel and should be best traveled during the day. Overall this place is exceptional and one weekend simply wasn't enough. We will definitely go back.

A beautiful, clean family resort filled with lots to do. We were more than entertained in the week we spent there with all the facilities within the resort- game drives, quad bikes, bike hire, bike trails, pools, heated pools, mini golf, tennis, archery, paintball and so much more, which made it very convenient. Restaurants on premises are lovely with really good food. The game drive was very nice with lots of animals and birds to see. My kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Roads towards Dikololo was not good
The chalet was clean, comfortable and in excellent condition. Game viewing and interaction is fantastic. Take peanuts, apples, carrots, etc. to feed the animals - cut into small pieces. Many will feed out of your hand once they see that you are not a threat. A restful, rewarding experience.

I absolutely love the entire resort, it’s got everything you need and more. Only the best family resort. The rooms are clean and spacious and comfortable. The facilities are top notch, swimming pools, lake with paddle boats, put put, pool table at the bar, restaurant with good food, bike hire and game drives. The list is endless.

Amazing place. Been here almost every year since I was only 1 year old. (Won a few competitions when I was younger year as well, and really enjoyed staying here. So many memories.) Welcomed renovations has been done to the chalets and main swimming pool area, great shop where you can go buy drinks, food, Ice cream...etc, excellent pools and restuarant, wild life is great here (woke up once with like 10 different animal species outside our chalet!) and they recently made the WiFi unlimited & free. The only issues remain the gravel road to the actual place, which I understand is expensive to fix but I know it's possible for them to fix it, and having to pay to use the airconditioning. Few years ago, the chalets had ceiling fans which were free to use. Other than that, steller place which I highly recommend to anyone, at any age. Made so many memories here, come and create some of yours here too.

Very nice food and activities. Animals come and visit you and you can get pretty close to them safely. Rooms: Get what you book. Nearby activities: Peaceful stand up paddle boarding and had a fun bike ride. Walkability: Walked every where in the resort even at night. Food & drinks: Very good food at the restaurant.
The staff were friendly and helpfull and Marilie at the reception desk has exceptional client relation skills .She assisted us with all our queries .

Wow. I have just returned from a week at Dikhololo in Brits with my family and friends. What an experience. We stayed in 6 Raasblaar, a magnificent home away from home. It was clean and spacious and everything worked very well. The staff were amazing, friendly and efficient. We did complain about a loud party late one night and security arrived within 5 minutes and sorted it out within 10 minutes. The animals were lovely and plentiful and the fishing eventful. My boys caught abut 16 fish over 2.5 days of fishing. The zipline was short but amazing and the guides were excellent. One concern was that the hot pool was so full of chemicals that it burned the childrens skin and eyes. Other than that we had a lovely week and have booked to go again in March.
Thiss place was sooo nice🙌💕 I went there with my family of 4 and it was interesting... But the thing that wasn't right was the rooms. They weren't sound proof 😭 cause I could I could hear people talking and I was sacred cause maybe they heard our conversations. But overall it wasssss great, me and my family did Zip lining and more activities so I recommend it✌️
Always a pleasure to go to Dikhololo. We have been many times. I highly recommend it. The kids love it. It is the place with one of the most options to keep kids busy. My 4 year old son loves the visit from Max the Turtle.
Facility was nice, however every activity you had to pay for including swimming in the heated pool. If you have a few kids like we do, it costs you a fortune .
Very beautiful, lots to do, the activities are extremely affordable, with free options available as well, the rooms are clean and well kept, the staff is friendly and helpful, easy to talk to.
