Dikhololo is a real treasure just 17km outside Brits. Beautiful rooms fully equipped. Our chalet is for 4 persons, clean and comfortable. They supply enough towels, hairdryer, body and handwash in big bottles wish they refull for you, even dish soap drying cloth and small dish cloth to wash the dishes if you want to do it yourself or the cleaners come in the mornings to clean your places. Less to pack in. The resort have entertainment for young and old everyday except Fridays. You can never get bored or stay in you chalet you will miss out alot. Lots of birds and animals to see. I sit and drink tea and eat risks while feeding the birds and small animals. They so tame they take the food out of your hands that's what I call paradise. There is so much to do and explore to mention it all, come make your booking and enjoy it yourself. Fell in love ❤️ with this place. My new paradise. Rooms: Clean and comfortable. We had an absolutely amazing time at Dikhololo! We stayed from Friday to Monday, and honestly, it was such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. There was so much to do and see, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The units were lovely, comfortable, and exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The kids had the best time and enjoyed themselves so much! Seeing all the beautiful animals and being surrounded by nature made the experience even more special. It was so refreshing to escape the busy city life for a few days, relax, and simply enjoy everything Dikhololo has to offer. Everything was pure bliss! It was an amazing little journey filled with fun, relaxation, beautiful surroundings, and wonderful memories. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back again soon!
Quad bike Game drive
Me and the family arrived on the 28th and upon arrival the staff were hands on deck with all the bookings, if you are looking for a pleasant stay and kind staff this is the place to go. I had the opportunity to ask my fiancé to marry me and the staff helped me plan everything, from a picnic basket to fotos, a bottle of champagne was given and a nice snack platter. Thank you to all the staff.

Lifelong Favourite. I’m currently 36 years old, and my family and I have been visiting Dikhololo since I was just 5 years old — that’s 31 years of memories, visiting roughly twice a year. Over all these years, Dikhololo has consistently delivered great service, a beautiful environment and a wonderful place to relax and recharge. It’s more than just a holiday destination for us — it has become a place filled with family memories over three decades. The quality, atmosphere and experience keep us coming back. 31 years later, and we still love it!
I utilised my points from RCI for this booking. We stayed in a beautiful secluded unit (Unit 1 in the Wildevy Camp). This is a recently renovated unit with lovely modern finishes. Contains everything you need for self-catering. The resort is well maintained. Animals roam freely around the camp. Restaurant has nice meals. The shop contains everything that you need even a mini bottle store. There are plenty of activities for children, these must be paid for in cash. Lovely scenic bicycle routes. I cannot find any fault with this resort. We had a lovely stay here.

We absolutely love this Game resort. For us its a close getaway that leaves us feeling refreshed and rejuvinated. The game is absolutely amazing. Often wake up to buck or Zebras on your front door. The last time there was a huge herd of cows outside our chalet ij the morning. Dikhololo is packed with activities - hot and cold pools. Lovely game drives, lots of activities for the kids, quad biking which we loved, an amazing zip line and more. The staff are all so friendly and make you feel at home. Although there is a dirt road for about 10km to the resort, they've really improved the road and its a breeze now. Highly recommend this resort

A beautiful stay surrounded by nature. The game drives were fantastic, with giraffes and lots of different animals to see. The heated pool was wonderful, and the milkshakes are definitely worth trying! The only downside was the lack of Wi-Fi in the houses, but overall a great experience.

It’s a nice place to be at. A home away from home.
Stayed here in May with the extended family and what a time it was . So much to do on the reserve we were never bored. . The quad bikes tour was great , the facilities amazing especially the arcade room , the games machines were packed with nostalgic games from our childhood especially the portable ps2 machines which had hundreds of classics for us to play. The bar and restaurant were fantastic too I always had a difficult time picking what to eat from the menu. Special shout out to the spa ladies especially Thando for restoring my feet and making me able to wear slippers without shame after many years of having ugly feet .Lulu you are the man . Hope to come back one day for sure

My room was meant to be the kids room but had no storage so all my clothes had nowhere to be stored. The unit also had 3 bathrooms but no baths. Only showers. I would have loved to have a nice bath. Otherwise, the place was absolutely amazing. Rooms: Absolutely gorgeous. The beds were comfortable and I'm usually very fussy about that. Nearby activities: Too many to mention. Safety: Very safe. Walkability: Lots of paths and also a walking safari. Noteworthy details: It has been revamped and looks absolutely gorgeous .

We stayed here twice, and was fortunate to experience the refurbished rooms. There’s so much to do for the entire family, my 10 year old son loved it so much, we had to return. The website is an understatement. For the colder weather, the indoor swimming pool was an absolute treat! There are many outdoor swimming pools on the property. Quad biking, cycling, a dam, zip lining, volleyball, table tennis, games rooms, soccer, a spa and other facilities. The food at the restaurant can be improved and the cocktails are premixes but I appreciated that they let us know when ordering. There’s a dirt road to get to the resort and there are two options, the one via the Church doesn’t have as many potholes as the other. There is a shop with basic necessities so that you don’t have to leave the lodge for essentials you may have forgotten at home. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

What a weekend
The amount of activites keeps your whole holiday busy it was amazing did 2 hours of quading, paintball, ziplining and paddeling was awesome.
We had an amazing time at Dikhololo game reserve for my wife’s 40th birthday. The facilities are fantastic and the service from the staff is second to none. Special mention to LuLu for his efforts in ensuring our braai activity went well and one of the ladies in the restaurant who helped get a cake for my wife. Highly recommended

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the staff were amazing from check in to check out. Was so lovely to also get greeted with a complimentary bag of popcorn and cold juice 😁 rooms were spotless and modern and we appreciated the additional tea and coffee station. We ate at the restaurant twice and food was excellent as well as the service. There is a lot of child friendly activities to do and my son really enjoyed them. The only thing which I would suggest needs to be looked into is that the walls are VERY thin between neighbours. We could hear every word spoken, cough and sneeze (in explicit detail) of our neighbour and it was rather unpleasant. If the walls were thicker to reduce sound traveling between units it would be an excellent stay. Overall, we will definitely be returning 😊

What an awesome place. Not far from Pretoria. Take note that there is a 11km gravel road that leads to the place. The road is maintained but u will have to use a bakkie during rainy seasons.

Rooms: I booked for 3 adults and I kid since well the other child was over 12 years. They where sleeping on couches provided only 1bed. Bath tap was not working. There's a gentleman who works at the heated pool section renting out game equipment .... He made our stay more enjoyable he was kind and was willing to assist. The service Khumo and Berlinda provided was exceptional along with some of the guys from the leap adventures.

The area is surrounded by beautiful nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The apartment itself is clean, well-maintained, and very beautiful. The kitchen is fully furnished with everything you need, which made our stay convenient. We also enjoyed having our own private braai area, and the bar was a great addition to the overall experience.

The reception staff were so friendly and efficient. The whole ambience was great, we would go tomorrow again if we could! The entertainment was also family friendly and there is something for everyone to do! From small kids, to teenagers, to older people. Everyone has a place at Dikhololo.
The facilities are clean and the waiters were nice and very fast, the rooms were cleaned exceptionally, and nothing was lost. We also enjoyed the quad biking session with Karabo from Leap Adventures.

Gr8 place to stay with a lot of activities and animals. Our go to place for a weekend away. Rooms: Chalets clean and spacious
Squirrel droppings and urine in the top room. Maintenence came out and did nothing. Got to move to a different unit. The actual Dikhololo resort is great with peace, quiet and nature.
Kids activities
Dikhololo is parent nirvana... Probably other people nirvana too. The resort offers so much more than just accommodation and game drives. There are free activities at the main complex every day. There are swimming pools, playgrounds, games (including giant jenga, video games, and more). At a nominal fee (for each activity), you can play bingo, use the pool table, table tennis tables, squash court, hot swimming pool, zipline, supertube, paddling boats, putt-putt...the list goes on. Rooms: Most of Dikhololo's accommodation is rondawel-style houses that have been sub-divided. The smallest of which is a 4-sleeper studio/loft apartment. Cleaning services come in every day but Sunday, so you can actually relax. Walkability: There are hike trails throughout the game farm and no large predators. So, provided you don't provoke the wildlife, you're in for a treat. Food & drinks: Aside from lacking in gluten-free options, the menu is fantastic. Just watch out for bees climbing down your drink's straw. They're crafty.

I loved the whole place. It was our first time there and really Impressed
Love the wild animals walking about. Rooms: Excellent. We are spoiled sleeping at home on King size bed. It would be nice if you can have a choice of bed in the main bedroom.
The bumpy gravel road is what I don't like but the place is a bliss. The staff are the nicest people always greeting and ready to assist. Our kids always love when we go to this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Dikhololo Resort! The room at Bergkaree B2 was absolutely beautiful — very neat, stylish, and perfectly prepared when we arrived. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax. The kitchen is especially stunning and well laid out, which made our stay even more comfortable. The resort itself has so much to offer. There’s plenty to do, lovely swimming pools, and it’s full of animals which makes the whole experience feel special and close to nature. I also visited the Body Bliss Spa during our stay and it was such a treat. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the massage experience was relaxing and professional — truly hands of gold! It added that extra touch of luxury to our getaway. The only thing to keep in mind is that the resort is reached by about a 16-kilometer gravel road, which can be a bit rough and bumpy — but once you arrive, it is absolutely worth it. Overall, the staff at the resort are very friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was peaceful, enjoyable, and memorable. We will definitely be back! 🌿✨
Always a pleasure to visit this little piece of paradise. Maintenance needs to up their game. Rooms: Nicely upgraded recently but some items need attention. Loose screws etc. Nearby activities: Lots to keep the children occupied. Walkability: Lots of space to go walking whether it is in the bush, up to a lookout point or just around the chalets. Food & drinks: Food looks really good with mostly generous servings. All staff are friendly and extremely helpful.
The was a mix up with the rooms we had booked however the staff were helpful and sorted it out without any hassle.

Next level experience! The team here really knows how to look after their guests. Everything from the room maintenance to the cleanliness of the pools was 10/10. I particularly want to mention the receptionist with the long lashes—she was so helpful and professional throughout our stay. I’m sorry I missed her name, but she is an absolute asset to the Dikhololo team

Everything at Dikhololo was so well maintained. The chalet was very clean, neat and spacious. Saw loads of animals. Pools were very clean. Staff was very friendly.
We absolutely loved all the animals and how comfortable they were around humans which meant we could interact with them closely. The swimming pool area is beautiful and well cared for and the activities for everyone was something different and kept everyone entertained.

Cleanliness of unitt
It was my first time at Dikhololo this weekend. The facilities are great and lots of activities. My only concern is only the main bedroom has an airconditioner. The top and bottom rooms are very hot during the nights. Any possibilities for airconditioners in those rooms? Otherwise it was a very nice weekend.
