Apartment was beautifully decorated & had everything we needed. The swimming pool and beach access was brilliant. They have a great games room on offer for the children that is well looked after and the staff are all friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The room with en-suite bathroom was very comfortable. The bedding and the towels were of good quality. The walking paths between the villages were clear and wide,

Ideal place for larger families to spend time together, not really worth it for a couple. Where we stayed, a one bedroom villa with splash pool, the photos of the view on the website is a little exaggerated, as we had more view of the house and road in front instead of the mountains. Would I go back? Definitely not in the summer or hot weather (although this limits available activities). There is no aircon. In cooler weather, would maybe go back but with more family and better prepared (food, drinks and entertainment). A little pricey for overall experience. Rooms: Less 2 stars on this cause beds are getting a little worn and NO AIRCON. Nearby activities: Within the resort...lots to do for families and subject to good weather. Safety: Not really a safety issue but if you dont take the whole house, you share an entrance hall with others. It is only mentioned when they call you a couple days before to confirm. Walkability: Great to walk around. Food & drinks: Little store available and restaurant but rather a place to come prepared and cook or braai at accommodation. Noteworthy details: Heated pools around the resort is really great. Lots of entertainment for the kids.
Nearby activities: Valley Bakery worth visiting
This is a lovely resort. The entertainment activities are well organised for young to old. The activities include yoga, bingo, tennis challenges, charades, kids pizza classes, gorge swings, hiking trails, paint classes, putt putt and much more. The bungolows get cleaned everyday and the staff is friendly. The amenities is very clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back.

I loved the location, security, weather, comfort, tranquility and the staffs friendliness. WiFi connection was strong. The activities really made our stay... We enjoyed being able to do 5km walk/run on the premises

We stayed at Cayley Lodge for the first time last week and absolutely loved it. The staff were all friendly, the cleaners were exceptionally friendly (they deserve a special mention!), and everything was spotless – seriously, not a speck out of place. The grounds are beautiful, the view is unreal, and the whole place just has that calm, “you can finally exhale” feeling. They even surprised my wife for her birthday – completely unexpected and incredibly thoughtful. They didn’t have to, but they went out of their way to make it special, and that really says everything about the heart of this place.

The place was so beautiful!! Everything was close by, there are so many amenities, it’s family friendly and I would definitely go again. Getting there was a bit tricky but it’s worth it!

Rooms set up
This is the best place to go whenever I need a breakaway, whether it is to rest or to go wild on the many other activities. Located in the most beautiful and scenic area of the Eastern Free State, it is easily reachable and lends the best atmosphere for chilling. Neatly kept lawns and pathways allow you to walk around with joy. The units are amazing and beautifully kept, as I've stayed on different ones over the years. What a joyful to stay here.
The place was very nice and comfortable, it definately met my expectations. The spa treatment was exceptional I would highly recommend that you ask for Boitumelo is you want to do a massage...she is incredible I feel so relaxed. Lastly some of the activities should not come ay a cost they should be complementary as part of the booking for a stay. Overall it was a good experience

Good very clean
The staff were very accommodating to our large family (eight total). I would certainly recommend it. Only issue was the distance from the airport, and lack availability of airport pickup service . Perhaps a reservation system for that service would be advisable. Breakfast was great.

Ich kann dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war fantastisch. Karolina, die Frühstücksbedienung, war stets hilfsbereit. Auch das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Einziger Nachteil: die hohen Parkgebühren. Sollte ich jemals wieder in der Gegend sein, werde ich definitiv wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten.
The location, range of activities and facilities are superb, especially with the topography and scenery. However they charge for every single thing, access card for activities plus you have to buy items on top of that for the facilities, and they dont bring fresh towels daily.
Very beautiful resort, peaceful and quiet especially during the off peak. The views were breathtaking and staff is always willing to help. Shout out to Sanele one of the staff members. All in all, great service and will definitely return
