At the apartments clean the rooms thoroughly, don't change towels, sheets and pillowcases daily Rooms: Good space to move around around and modern. Nearby activities: Lake/beach just at the door step. Safety: Security personnel are moving around every few minutes. Very safe

Had yet another memorable stay at San Martinho Beach Club. The amenities are great and accommodates all requirements. The rooms are very clean, and the beach is spotless. The water is wonderful. Had a foot massage at the Spa which hit all the right spots. The Sandbar Restaurant caters for all palates, and caters for vegetarians as well. The staff and the manager Daniel are most accommodating. I look forward to another well deserved break soon

The cleaner didn't remove waste from dustbins and she didn't clean on our second day.The place is very nice.... Is like u are not in Africa. Wish they can fix the road before entrance... N put a signage just after traffic circle. Beds are really comfortable. Please increase quantity of your pots. We were 7 and had to use one pot; wash it n reuse that waste time n electricity. Will I come back.... Definitely YES. Very considerate we arrived late but the manager left the keys for us with the security

I love the place because it is a very quiet place, and the rooms are very clean. Special thanks to the lady who was cleaning our house; at least we could communicate with her in English, and we understood each other. But other people's communication breaks down.

We rented a villa for 8 people with a mini splash pool overlooking the lagoon. The villa is big and spacious for 7 people, it has a/c in all bedrooms and living area as in August it's humid and hot. The unit, pool and barbecue area were cleaned daily which is great. Excellent location, we loved waking up to the beach view, the safety when taking evening walks to/from the games room or the restaurant. My kids (10 & 11yrs) had the best time with resort offered activities (boat rides, beach tubing, kayaks, beach volley ball, put put, chess) and every morning there are outside providers on the lagoon for jet skiis. A friend who had visited previously recommended a local chef who has a permit to be in the resort, and he offered his services to go source fresh sea food, coconut rice, pau (addictive local bread rolls) and the yummy local fresh chili sauce and cooked dinner. The sea food is tasty, and variety is amazing (fish, prawns, calamari, crab, lobster) at great prices. The villas have no WiFi, it's centralized to the common areas (restaurant, reception & games room). We did not mind this as we wanted to switch off from screens, but it would have been great to know in advance. We took a walk to the small town during the day and night to check out the local fruit & vegetable market, not much to see but we met very friendly local people and felt very safe. We drove from Johannesburg; the drive is long and was made longer by the road maintenance work and police road blocks every few kilometers. The road quality is great, no need for SUV/4x4, resort can be reached with a low clearance sedan. Just beware of the low speed as well (40-80km/h). We really got to relax and had a great family holiday; I would highly recommend the resort.

Outstanding! Modern, very clean, spacious, and on the beach - simply divine! Rooms: Airconditioner, cupboards, confortable beds and pillows. Nearby activities: As one wishes, from tubing, jet skis, to horse ridings on the beach... amazing. Safety: Did not feel the lack of it at any point. I walked 26km and it was safe and friendly all the way. Walkability: Lots of sand but great, I walked 26km and felt safeall the way. Food & drinks: Plenty available. Noteworthy details: Fantabulous!
We went there for the breakfast buffet, and to spend the day on the beach. The staff were amazing: friendly and efficient. The beach was beautiful, and because we went out of peak season it wasn’t too busy.
