Great place to visit with excellent scenery and a very tranquil place
We had an amazing experience at Monomotapa Village. It's a peaceful, quiet and relaxing bush experience. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the resort was always clean, neat and tidy. We enjoyed the putt-putt, swimming pool and the game's room, as well as the discounted activities eg, game drive and golf course. NBC there is no shop at the resort, so be sure to pack in all your essentials. However there is a little shop 4kms from the resort. And for the golfers, remember to pack your clubs and balls to enjoy the 10 hole tribute course for free. Big thanks to the office staff, you are all amazing.
Location only rated 4 stars due to no shops nearby but other than that I had the best time and wished to stay longer!! Self catering at its best man. I'm due to return within this year. This is a great escape 3hrs from jhb a great retreat worth the drive. I would recommend it for groups upto 12 and couples alone as well it's perfect! Rooms: Very spacious! Neat finishes on detail corner to corner, modern! Nearby activities: There's plenty to be explored there it's a massive property! Enough for kids and adults. Safety: 10 out 10. Walkability: Easy access to all facilities

Monomotapa Village at Legend Safari is a beautiful and relaxing getaway. The service was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The host was warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. Definitely a place I’d love to visit again!

This was the best week away, most friendly staff excellent Rangers and we felt like royalty in our accommodation. Definitely are going back as soon as possible

Should consider having a tuck shop that sells basic things. Although the shop is 4 km away ,you have to use the gravel road. Very pleasant and attentive staff. We had an 8 sleeper which has 4 TV's with its own. decoders and 4 showers and 4 toilets. Plus a bath in the main en-suit. Great game ranger who besides tracking the cheetahs until we found them ,knew the names of the plants and trees. Peaceful environment. Rooms: Spacious and clean. Each room had a tv and en suit. Safety: We felt safe. Food & drinks: Take your own.

Nel locale in prossimità del golf -Tribute, c’è anche un bel caminetto che nel periodo invernale scalda l’ambiente e lo rende molto accogliente. Rooms: Molto spaziosa con condizionatore/pompa di calore. Nearby activities: Game drive in Entabeni. Safety: Luogo sicuro. Walkability: Si può fare una passeggiata tranquillamente all’interno della struttura che è molto grande, con diverse camere e mini appartamenti. Food & drinks: Tutto ottimo

Spacious and we wished we stayed a bit longer.
Very tranquil and peaceful. The impala are wandering around the units, leisurely grazing. Saw cheetahs close up on the game drive - fantastic as well as elephant a few feet away, breaking down tree branches. All amazing. The units are very clean and staff (office as well as cleaning staff) all helpful and efficient. We were even allowed to play pool at 7:30 am before we left that morning. Great and personalised service! Thank you.
The best place to be if you need a weekend getaway or two week family vacation, Monomotapa village lodge got you covered. Easily accesible from the strekervir road(very smooth road and short gravel), There are places for kids and adults to enjoy themselves, not to mention the animals, take a game drive from only 🦁R500 a person and gaze the big five. What a resort, MY FAMILY AND I LOVED IT❤️❤️.
We had a lovely stay. It was quiet and tranquil. Just the break we needed. We had a game drive which was super enjoyable, scenic and informative. There is a lovely playground for the kids to enjoy. The unit was well equipped and clean. The only thing that I would like them to add is maybe a small shop where you can buy essentials if you forgot something because they are located a bit of a distance from a town, which if I am honest is part of its appeal. You can truly just unwind and enjoy the escape from the hustle of the city. Rooms: The unit we stayed at had a well equipped kitchen and braai facilities. Each room had an ensuite bathroom. We stayed from Monday to Friday and the unit was cleaned everyday (except for the public holiday) shout out to Johanna ☺️😁 Nearby activities: The resort itself has a put put course, pool, playground and playroom (pool table, foozeball table, soft play for toddlers and two arcade style tv game machines). You can go for a game drive at Entabeni (booked through reception). You can play some golf or enjoy some lunch or dinner at Tribute.

Top notch place to break away from the city. Kids loved it and the big 5 game drives are super awesome. Rooms: All rooms had their own bathrooms with 2 basins shower and toilet main room had bath shower 2 basins and toilet. Beds and linen of top quality. Nearby activities: Golf, game drives, hiking, mountain biking, bird watching, putt putt swimming. Safety: Very safe. Walkability: Large hiking trails
A fantastic place to unwind, great game drives, superb accommodation. We will be back for more 💕 Rooms: Bathrooms en suite, spacious, air cons in every room, fire place, braai, patio.. Walkability: Have a leisurely walk, kids play ground, swimming pool and so many other things to do. Noteworthy details: The game drives are with experienced drivers/guides and very knowledgeable .
