Perfect place to stay and enjoy
My husband surprised me with a quick break away for my birthday. We stayed in unit nr 10 with our two children. Had a wonderful stay. Unit was super clean and had everything we needed. Loved the little heated pool on the deck. The view of the river was breathtaking. Food at the restaurant was excellent. Will definitely fo back for my next bday.
We felt really welcome and the resort was beautifully maintained and clean. The beds were very confortable and we all had a really good nights sleep. we will be back

Amazing experience at Hazeyview Cabanas
Great Enjoyed
Our large extended family enjoyed separate housing but within close proximity to eachother. The pools and waterslides were nearby, and staffed with life guards. We utilized the laundromat, which was clean and well maintained. R30 per wash or dryer. Large loads didn't completely dry with one cycle but there were drying racks/horses in our suites. The riverside day beds and adults only lounge were relaxing. Staff were friendly and helpful. We appreciated the proximity to Hazyview activities and shops. It would be a trek to get to a Kruger gate for sunrise - don't forget to pre-book your day visitor gate entry. It is definitely worth staying here with kids.

I was very happy with the kids facilities for playing and the fact that there is someone dedicated to play with the kids and help them do different games.

A lovely resort—, well-maintained, and surrounded by beautifully kept gardens. The young children had a fantastic time, making it an ideal destination for a family getaway. Our 8-sleeper unit was clean and comfortable. While the main lounge was a little dark, the open-plan kitchen featured a large table that became the heart of our family gatherings. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I rated the service five stars, especially thanks to a thoughtful gesture from the housekeeping staff. One of the ladies noticed it was my grandson's 4th birthday. When we returned to our unit after a day out, we were surprised with a delightful birthday display crafted from towels. It was a heartwarming touch that truly made his day! The restaurant and river area are the ideal place to chill. Even though we went in winter, it was still a lovely place to spend some time relaxing. We will definitely be going back as a family.

Its been our second time to Hazyview Cabanas and it was an amazing experience the 8 sleeper units have been newly revamped. So modern and clean absolutely loved it. The facilities and activities for the kids and families over the holiday perios was great. Friendly welcoming staff and the Rivers edge resturant was great if you dont feel like having a break from the kitchen.
Fast efficient check in , friendly staff ! Lots to do and keep the kids busy ! Highly recommend for a family get a way. Clean units , comfortable beds.
Excellent service and exceptional accommodation
Our 2nd visit to Hazyview Cabanas and I have to say this stay was even better then the last. Some units have been newly revamped and I absolutely loved the new modern style. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly and ghe kids had a blast using all the facilities and enjoying the days activities. Just didn't see a point to pay R100 per a kid to go down the pool slides but other then that it was an amazing stay and we will definitely be back. Rooms: We stayed in the 8sleeper with patio. It was modern and clean. Nearby activities: Kruger national park. Mall. Panaroma route and much more. Safety: Safe and secure. Walkability: There is a resutrant and convenient store on the property u can walk to from your unit. Food & drinks: Rivers edge has everything u need.

The welcome and friendliness of the lady at the gate set the tone for my weekend away. The staff at the reception were efficient and friendly. The setting is beautiful.
Lovely place to stay. Our accommodation was very good. Clean & comfortable Rooms: Well furnished with everything you would need. Food & drinks: We had a table braai, which was very, very nice. Put on the heaters and gave us blankets to make sure we were warm and comfortable.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The log cabin in particular was a highlight – cozy, beautifully set up, and perfect for relaxing. The venue overall was very inviting, with great facilities like a swimming pool and fun activities for children, which made it ideal for a family getaway.
I really enjoyed my stay However I'd like to point out that the Security could be improved alot in the chalets which I think despite it being a holiday resort ir could be improved to ease the customers mind as they're leave the chalets for activities etc. The restaurant I could not try as it was not halal which would have been nice had it catered for muslim customers. Overall everything else I had a good experience with
1 - The lighting in the lounge in the 8 sleeper is dim and dark. 2 - The lighting outside during the night is not up to comfort standards. 3 - There is a very long work to walk from the putt putt,pool table, or table tennis to the reception to get the equipment. i suggested that it be left with a worker closer. Other then that the stay was lovely and the scenery is absolutely beautiful,the river is a major win and is a full day activity on its own

Beautiful well maintained resort. The 3 bedroom unit that we were in was nicely furnished and well maintained and had beautiful views. The gardens are well maintained and there are a lot of open spaces and activities for children.
The master bedroom bed was squeaky no heating for winter balcony bars unstable put a sighn for no leaning cause children can fall but either than that enjoyed the stay.
Nearby activities: Alot of activities around Hazyview to do... worth the visit is Kruger National Park, God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, a lot of stalls selling cute figures of the BIG 5 next to the road

1- There's no heat in the chalet rooms for the winter. 2- The sliding entrance door is not 💯 secure. Any one can force it open, and it can become a problem. 3- There are no phones in the rooms for a emergency call. 4- The shower doesn't have a handicap bar in the shower. Television in the living room only. Everything else is 💯

There’s lots of entertainment for families. The rooms are big enough. The buffet was not nice and had very limited choice of food. Not so ideal for a Valentines dinner.
Close to the Kruger National Park
We booked in between 18 and 21 April 2025. We spent 99% of the time out and about only returning to the resort for supper and to sleep. It's is a really beautiful, peaceful resort, the units are almost sound proof, we were about 50m from the Sabie River and when inside the unit you could barely hear the flowing water, but outside it was quite loud. The facilities for both young and old were great and very well kept. The staff were all very friendly. There is fishing facilities on the property at the Sabie River itself, there are gates that open during set periods and you can fish catch n release. Mostly big mouth Yellow Fish. It is really strange that this info is NOT promoted on their website and the staff were just as confused when we asked about the fishing facilities?

Pool was clean but racism in the sliding pool. White people act like they own the pool. I found one racist shouting at my kids chasing them away from the pool. I don't know why don't you have people guarding the pool against that. You should even put up warning signs that racism will not be tolerated and list the consequences where one is found being racist.

We only went there for the restaurant, however I have stayed there previously and the room was amazing. It is a beautiful view and incredibly tasty food. The cocktails are overflowing!! The service is super friendly, however a bit slow. Its a great place if you want to relax and watch the river, but not if you are in a rush. Overall lovely!!
